1. YOU didnt get the ori part from the proper seller.... mine have the Mitsu logo and is from OEM factory...

2. Your installer dont have the experience in installing it... you must NOT remove all screw from the bonnet to install the holder, as the bonnet will SLIDE down (due to weight) and screw up the aligment... mine is perfectly aligned...

3. Coz yours is NOT OEM, it dont hold well for YOU.... mine is perfect, the guys have seen it up and not moving at all, and even XCInspire and myself have spent much time under the bonnet doing mods... it didnt move at all...

4. I had tested mine when installing.... one damper CAN hold up the bonnet, only lifting it is heavier (but without the dampers, the bonnet is way too heavy).... again, coz you didnt buy ORI or from OEM...

So, this dont mean OEM parts (strut bars, dampers, etc) dont work as well, it simply mean you bought from the WRONG source... and lets not get to those parts you are selling....  brows.gif  brows.gif

Ori from Japan, with a Mitsu Japan part number sticker on the part and Mitsubishi Genuine Parts plastic bag wrap...

Current is OEM, donno from where and no stickers or Mitsu plastic bag...

Sorry to kacau Sleed's sales thingy, but he need to wake up and know what is OEM and what is ORI...

Thanks for your advice there.. You might be right about the installation part. i believe is the installer in sunway (near sunway college) have screwed up my car…. dont bring ur car there for fixing. Thus, Workmanship is really important.

mine have the mitsubishi logo but made in taiwan. i remember i did show u my damper last time. Same as urs. that's why i dont sell damper and not recommended. Even the volvo ori (pump based) damper also have problem. if u really want hold the bonnet, better off use the spring.

secondly, the engine cover have the Mitsubishi logo sticker and the serial number. i did upload before. there are two different type of engine cover. one with silver coating and the other one is just normal black.

btw, i always verify with the mitsubishi shop before i post my items.

Look at it this way. The expensive tint saved your car from being ransacked or driven away... If there was a passenger there, it would have saved him/her from shattering glass. Any cheaper tint may not have given you this peace of mind.

Why are people stopped and who are those unmarked cars? Traffic police?

Added on October 27, 2011, 9:46 am

For your case seems like someone tried to insert something.

FYI, CCS5 has inside and outside walls... make sure it does not show "Inside" wording outside is when doing tire balancing, etc.

i will take note about it... feel weird when i see label over there.... i cant take it off... sad.gif i will go SC and investigate further. thanks anyway.

weird..unless the parts number is the same, i think the MMC filter uses different part number..

the MMC oil filter part number is MD360935

i always service mine in Eon, they are still using the MMC filter.

not same, the one they changed for me is Proton Genuine Parts, blue color one...

anyways, we can source for ori mitsu oil filter, BUT, when we go service our car in Proton SC, we still have to use their oil filter la....they dont allow us to bring our own oil filter......so, no point la...
*
i just serviced my car just now…. i use my mitsubishi oil filter and they allowed it. they even asked me to bring my own engine oil if i want to use full synthetic oil. puchong sc not bad… can customize but cannot top up to change oil. secondly, their fully synthetic oil no stock.. damn…. now using 800 semi oil…. every 5k i change wor….

the semi synthetic oil running at 8000km really crap…. damn black…. like sand on the oil… i will attach the picture up later.

btw, questions. how to reset the service cycle.? can anyone tell me?

how to adjust the camber? my camber not aligned. need help.

out of toptec 4100 4200 4300 4400 4500
i found out 4200 most expensive
and the most certified oil compare to other toptec
included VW 507 00 which they state
change intervals of up to 30,000/50,000 km (or every 2 years for low mileage drivers)

in malaysia i don't know la, but in other country they used this oil in Golf GTi and other VW & AUDI
their vehicle 15000km only service once, but i look at their oil filter, almost double of our car's size. thus,
no matter how great your engine oil are, without a good filter , same cannot tahan also.
*
Agreed. Every 5000km need to change the filters
