Yesterday when removing my dash to install the temperature sensor... i kehpoh on our meter.... waHLAU eh .. it has the wording ... "AS&G" .. lower part of the RPM ... lolz.. its already meant for 4J10 long time ago ...

i can assure u all .. for rpm below 4500 both ron 95 n 97 perform the same..
Even u go redline at 6000 u wont damage ur engine wth 95 coz our ecu got different mapping for diff fuel.. it will burn more fuel at 4500 above compare to 97.. But still cannot justify the Rm1 difference

Actually our inspira aircon damn cold 1.. The manual controller the range too big u have to turn to almost fully counter clock wise to feel it.
I changed to lancer auto 1 d.. put 25 / 26 damn cold d .. for me la.. my maaaaiveee one.. 1st level fan .. not much air.. 2nd level too much air

problem or not .. to me it is really still useless...
drive above 50 ~ 60km ... (even with sound proof done) .. it will be noisy on the other end ..
i curi my wife's SE arc free bluetooth pakai .. even better ... laugh.gif

Since i am quite free today .. show u guys some findings about the Low/High octane fuel for 2.0 inspira ..

Basically there are 2 Fuel mapping in our ECU. one for High octane .. the other one low octane.. since it is tune for malaysian market .. i believe the low is for Ron95 and high is for 97.

How to read the map ?

Basically it tells u at what RPM ur ECU will split how much fuel compare to Air (AFR - Air Fuel Ratio) into the combustion chamber. Bigger number = leaner .. smaller number is richer ..

14.7 --> 14.7 : 1 --> 14.7 (air portion) to 1 fuel portion.
10 --> 10 : 1 --> 10 (air portion) to 1 fuel portion.

If engine run leans .. it will safe fuel, but the engine runs hotter .. gasket will crack easier in long run.

14.7 is the ideal burning, but it is not the most fuel saving. The most fuel saving should be at around 15.2

visible stone chips. i did say, accept it la, even if you get a stone chip free car, still after few days of driving, for sure 1 or few chipped paint will appear. unless you stick whole car invisible shield or park inside garage.

Make note of the paint chip during delivery, and insist them to mark it down as defect. Then get them to fill up a defect claim note, and get the technical manager or branch manager to sign on it. This is so that they log in the defect.

Then go to a SC that have paint shop in the compound (in KL, so far only Sect 13 PJ and COE Shah Alam has), and claim warranty by re-spray. Do take note that you have to leave your car there for re-spray.
