To all sifu here,
If I go back DZKJ2 using odian, I need to setup everything from fresh right? By the way, what is the best custom kernel at the moment? This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jan 13 2012, 05:27 PM |

My DZKL3 ROM now is ROOT!
What I did is just flashing custom kernel from superatmos v2.0 ![]() ** I don't care the yellow triangle or binary count. Now I got one question, as the superatmos v2.0 use custom bootanimation, is that anyway to use back origin bootanimation? This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jan 15 2012, 02:07 PM |

QUOTE(eddie2020 @ Jan 15 2012, 02:13 PM) haha.. i see.. I flash using odin, that custom kernel already pre-root. So I no need to re-root. The good is flashing kernel won't erase anything from your phone.not bad not bad.. he use what to record? another s2? like spear pierce to ur heart rite? why take off casing while charging? my charger the wire like inside box, nvr extend, damn pendek.. i put on floor charge haha awwww..cool binary count how many now? u root with odin n flash with odin? yes there is a way to change boot animation... i forget which page.. readed last time on s2 official thread v22.. got alot bootanimation let u choose and select lolz.. i just find the link for you ^^ here I read back that custom kernel, it support custom bootanimation but the format is different, I had no idea how to use the stock one as the format seems different. I am waiting answer from the kernel creator at the moment. My count binary now? I think is one as I only flash once. Thanks for the custom animation guide link, but the origin Samsung stock animation is .qmg format and I had no idea how to convert to .zip format. I will try Google around see got user convert it or not. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jan 15 2012, 02:22 PM |

QUOTE(gsan @ Jan 15 2012, 03:18 PM) I already did that, I find the origin .qmg version, but it is not working. It seems it had overwrite the call to custom .zip version, as I place custom version it is working but not the origin .qmg version.Added on January 15, 2012, 3:51 pmI found the origin Samsung bootanimation. http://www.multiupload.com/09G3Q4AC3O This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jan 15 2012, 03:51 PM |

QUOTE(xortz @ Jan 15 2012, 06:51 PM) may I know, what is so special with binary count? why everybody taking it very seriously? Actually binary count did nothing to your actual use.sry noob here. But........ - The Samsung service center will know whether you play around with custom ROM or not & how many times. - You might get charge / whatever during repair since your phone is root with custom ROM. Beside this, some expert seller might check and adjust the trade-in price when you selling your phone. That it! I don't might that counter, I more hate that ugly Yellow mark during start-up once you install custom ROM. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jan 15 2012, 07:22 PM |

QUOTE(anson81 @ Jan 15 2012, 11:11 PM) Cracked apps can simply install without root permission, just tick Unknown sources at Settings - Applications.Root is not for install cracked apps, root is for full access the whole phone with full permission on write access, it is useful for fully customization and apps/system modification. |

QUOTE(leymahn @ Jan 16 2012, 12:58 AM) From previous version DZKJ2, I don't see big different beside:
That it, I can't know what is new/fix, what ever easier hanging part still can hang, example camera still easier hang if you taken photo + preview the photo. Portable WiFi hotspot still occasionally hanging if you switching on off from time to time in short period. I also did not seen any performance increase at all.
