using TL-MR3220 with same DIY enhanced E1762 antenna, the speed pretty much better than direct E1762 USB to windows 7. Although Signal Strength just 32% - 38%. Will make another antenna like TS did & compare which better

better don't mess up the firmware from different hardware, wait for the correct release else don't if current ver nothing wrong
i upgraded mine from first version, the 3.12.20 version also lower the wifi dBm, b4 was between -26, -28, now -21, -23. |

TL-MR3x20 signal bar indicator not really important, good/strong 3/3.5g signals doesn't = faster speed, still depend on the isp location's free slots.

QUOTE(xauxix @ Jul 6 2012, 12:33 AM) guys, i need some advice. my 3220 having the same problem too, latency ok but speed just drops about 2/3 compare to usb modem on laptop. flash to newer firmware doesn't help either. i just got this TL-MR3420 last week. i use huawei E367 to connect with this router, success. but, my internet speed drop. tested on speedtest.net, i can only get 900kbps. ping also increase. normally without using this router, my speed can easily reach 8mbps. my i didn't move my modem as i using an external usb cable to connect to router & pc. why would this problem happen? or there's any setting that i missed? |

TL-MR-3220 work flawlessly with my new Sierra AirCard 320U LTE modem, at first I was thinking need to find the additional modem bin file as this 320U modem did not listed inside tplink 3g modem work list. End up, just plug N play.
the 3G signals part (from MR-3220 console), 320U keep showing 35% , while E1762 jumping btw 19% - 25%. Now only a question left, unsure if MR-3220 will optimize the Sierra AirCard "Tru-Flow" feature compare to direct USB modem onto laptop. Added on October 14, 2012, 1:59 pm QUOTE(stevenlee @ Oct 11 2012, 03:47 PM) guy, same problem b4, nothing to do with firmware.any1 can help me.. i just get my TL-MR3020 but the performance seem not up to what it use to be.. my 3g usb modem direct connect to PC will have average of 2.5Mbps download while when i connect it to TL-MR3020, i only manage to get 0.5 to 1Mbps... has try with new firmware, openwrt and dd-wrt seem same... any1 can share thier experience on ths modem... (p/s:sorry asking is wrong model ..hehe) Brought MR3220 & E1762 to office (different location) and test it, speed back to normal. End up connectify for the solution This post has been edited by iRonTech: Oct 14 2012, 01:59 PM |

is there any Huawei Mobile Partner dashboard version 20 above support USSD ?
at the moment using 11.302.09.01.539_Voice_USSD, mix driver 2.0.6.718 from e376 also, the huawei driver from dc-file modem RSSI reading is much more accuracy than orig e1762 driver |
