Just bought MR3420, and try with E355 but it doesnt recognize. How to make it compatible with each other?

Another question is : I try to torrent using this MR3420, so i try to port forward but i failed to do so. Always got "Neither NAT-PMP or UPNP is enable." from utorrent but i checked it already enable. Anyone help me please.

I just bought MR3420 and E367 (Dual Band). Tested today :





Before this i use E355. Tested today :




-Both tested at the same place and time.
-I already update my MR3420 firmware to 3.12.21 Build 120523 Rel.37880n
-I already try reconnect the modem to get other IP, but still the same result.

BTW, my MR3420 does not show E367 at the status 3G section but instead show this :
3G USB Modem: Identify successful <--- should shown E367 right?

What else should i do?

Done restarting twice. The first restart cause me unstable connection.

Second restart :



So far E355 is better than Mr3420 + E367.

Both tested on Wifi with the same location and position.

As for now, i cant test it with LAN.

Got question :

1. Is there a way to revert back the firmware to the original?

2. What happen if i downgrade the firmware? Now using the latest but what happen if i downgrade it ?

So just download and update the firmware. Thanks.

But i still afraid to downgrade the firmware. Afraid my modem cant be use after downgrade.

After a lot of try and error i can conclude that my MR3420 is the problem here. MR3420 are not compatible with E367 and always hard to make connection stable. Furthermore i notice that MR3420 wont let the speed reach more than 3mb.

This is what i do :

-Already upgrade/downgrade the firmware (MR3420).
-Test using wifi and direct LAN.
-Test E367 direct USB, speed CAN reach more than 5mb but test with MR3420 + E367 at the same place and time speed wont reach more than 2mb even have restart so many time and the connection are hardly to stablelize.
-Test MR3420 + E1550 speed wont reach more than 1mb.

What should i do to make MR3420 can cooperate well with my E367?
MR3420 is faulty product or i still missing something?

Help anyone

Im so tired trying this MR3420. If this is the problem, can i claim warranty with this issue?

-Automatically will make the modem connect automatically to the internet.

Maybe because it is idle (no connection request) so the router take time to get the connection back.

The max idle time is for manualy connect only.

Try use manually connect and set the max idle time to 0 but you have to manually connect everytime you restart/reboot your router. Try idle and see how the router perform.

If using auto, of course if reboot/restart router will auto connect.
If using manual have to connect by urselft, and IINM set 0 to idle is for manual only.


Got Off topic Question :

I use maxis skmm and if my balance is let say RM20 and my expired date is 2012-07-20 15:47:46.
If i top up RM 5, how long does the expired date will extend? Normally RM 5 = 5 days rite? Some says after top up (any amount) the expired will extend to another 50 days.

Please someone use maxis skmm explain me this.

I have try my MR3420 with E355 and yups router able to identify but not able to connect. Tested with latest firmware. I guess E355 still not fully support, wait till next firmware update then.
