I don't think it works that well with E372.

QUOTE(xauxix @ Jul 6 2012, 12:33 AM) guys, i need some advice. Nothing needs to be tweaked but I will suggest you to flash to the latest firmware first. i just got this TL-MR3420 last week. i use huawei E367 to connect with this router, success. but, my internet speed drop. tested on speedtest.net, i can only get 900kbps. ping also increase. normally without using this router, my speed can easily reach 8mbps. my i didn't move my modem as i using an external usb cable to connect to router & pc. why would this problem happen? or there's any setting that i missed? It helps a lot. http://www.tp-link.com.my/support/download...3420&version=V1 |

QUOTE(crusher @ Jul 6 2012, 11:12 PM) hi all, I'm not sure if you can use a MiFi on the router and after all you don't need a MiFi when you have this router.i already own a TL-MR3420 but going to use Maxis 3G line. dont know which USB/mifi to get to plug in my TL-MR3420. I am heavy usage on download/youtube/also some simple gaming. Please advise. Thanks! It is a flexible router and accepts all types of modems, I used E1762, E353, E367 and now using E372. Those are ll Huawei modems. For best bang of bucks, Huawei E367 is a good investment. |

The latest firmware doesn't show the model anymore.
Added on July 10, 2012, 4:35 pmBy the way, tried reset the router? Sometimes I have the same problem with my E372+MR 3420 also. A few attempts of restarting the router, will work for me. This post has been edited by fruitie: Jul 10 2012, 04:35 PM |

QUOTE(MrSars @ Jul 13 2012, 07:21 PM) Maybe because it is idle (no connection request) so the router take time to get the connection back. Is it? I use 0 and it is auto reconnection. The max idle time is for manualy connect only. Try use manually connect and set the max idle time to 0 but you have to manually connect everytime you restart/reboot your router. Try idle and see how the router perform. Hope this help. I don't need to do any manual reconnection. |
