My MBP works very well with this router, never experience any drop WIFI issue.

Router on default setup and still running on factory firmware.

u guys are lucky to have such nice signal as i believe you guys live very close to the tower/base station

I think after some observations, my iPad is working fine. Will monitor for another day.

Also silly me, I just noticed this part:  Max Idle Time:  0 minutes (0 means remain active at all times)
I didn't change the default value which is 15 minutes, now changed to 0, looks good. Always connected.

finger cross, and hope all will be done,.. apple product wifi a bit fussy for sure,.. 

Lan cable can share file, not like wireless,.. fussy and slow,.. 

OK, I take back my words. Looks like the problem still persists and now happens on my company's laptop also which is a DELL. The WiFi signal will lose somewhere. I really need to find out a solution.

Hi, I just bought this router. Any idea where I can get the SIM/UIM PIN? I'm on Maxis Broadband with the 3G USB modem which is plug and play. So how do I find out about the SIM/UIM PIN?

Thanks guys, I just got this yesterday but I don't have the USB modem with me right now to test it out. I'm looking through the thread and someone posted their configuration which made me wonder where the heck do I get the SIM pin.

Anyway, I can't disable the SIM card pin with a phone and then put it back on the modem. That would require me to punch the SIM as I'm using an iPhone.

I'll try it out this weekend.

would it affect internet speed if only on b/g?

ya i know...scare the umobile wont last long also.... these few days, umobile gv me average 1-1.5gb download per hour all day long. maxis only offer highspeed on midnight... hard to decide also... haha

happen to me just now,

i use my window live messenger to trouble shooot and repair, is the key port issue, after a fast repair with troubleshooter is fine now

i always use my window live troubleshooter to solve it first and check what is the error code,..

i too was experiencing it just now, disconnect, change DNS, reconnect,

its fine and much better now

i was using the Window Live Messenger Troubleshooter to trouboeshoot the issue and fix it for me,

once window live messenger can log in , internet is back
