any tutorial how 2 install Cyanogen rom (stable) in phone...???
I just installed and experimented many things to make it the most stable so might be able to help you..
you can get the stable version here:
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=stable&device=galaxys2however for myself and another lowyat forumer we tried one of the more recent builds and it is quite stable and have some bug fixes + features that we want, you might want to install the more recent build instead:
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=nigh...device=galaxys2I am using the '87' version myself.
get the google apps addon too, it contains Market, gmail, and some other google apps that due to some legal issues cyanogen can't include inside the installer above:

Now you're ready to flash! Do a Nandroid backup for your phone with CWM, then read 'Install via ClockworkMod' section here and follow it step by step (without fail) to install:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176411after installed, it's normal for the Market to have force close issue, follow the troubleshooting guide here:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Troubleshootingafter this should have no problem edi, but only if you seeing force close issue when running other apps, try the fix_permissions guide here as i heard it helps a lot:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Fix_permissionsalso you might want to update your Modem to KI4 as i heard it is suppose to go with the KI8 Kernal cyanogen is using:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1277593That's all, enjoy your most stable cyanogen you can get.. also thanks forumer teepee for some of the trouble shooting tips he pointed out

All the work is worth it.
Cheers.
