hi, just got a N9 for my wife last week. Anyone know how to change / add ringtone for the phone? I've tried to add some MP3 ringtones in the MUSIC folder but can't see them unless I use the Search function.

Added on October 13, 2011, 6:01 pmHi, could you tell me how to refresh the library?
I went into the MUSIC and I can see the ringtone files. But when I go into the RINGTONE section, I will have to use the SEARCH function in order to see what I've added.

Thx! smile.gif

Sad that I've sent my wife's N9 for repairing this week.

It's kind of frustrating when I'm having "Mobile Network Error" EVERYTIME I restart the phone, and had to pull out and re-insert the sim card for a LOT of time in order to get it work. I've replaced 3 Sim Cards this week from the telco and still facing the same problem. Had no choice but to send for repair.

I'm really pissing off with Nokia Malaysia that I've bought this phone for less that 7 days and they wouldn't replace a new one for me. Spending 2000 over for a Nokia phone end up wasting more time for trouble shooting and repairing. My wife is not happy with it, so do I.

Overall the phone is smoother and the camera is better compare to my Galaxy S I9000. But, I would not go for a Nokia phone in the future, because of the quality of service. Personal feeling and opinion. smile.gif

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Nokia should have given you a 1-to-1 replacement. But it could have been avoided if you had tested it in the shop. I advise all those collecting their N9s to bring their SIM with them, get it cut by the shop and test in on your new phone. It's better than chasing around getting your SIM cut later or buying one from the telco.

The shop actually cut the Sim card for me. They inserted it and switch on, it's all good. Until I went back home and turn off the phone, the problem occurred. It's kind a difficult to realize this problem on the spot. Initially I thought it was my Sim card problem and so I replaced a new one at the telco centre. But it turned out to be the phone problem as I've replaced 3 sim cards this week. cry.gif

i think most of mobile phone almost same, when spoil, depend on luck, some get one on one replacement.
base on above sim card issue,it seem mine has this problem.
i insert a original microsim from iphone 4,which work well on iphone 4,
1st time i insert can detect quite fast,
but after switch off and on back,
it take minute to 30 minute to detect the network.
i not sure still got anyone face this problem???

This is wrong. Please send it to Nokia Care Centre asap for repairing.

Apps does not matter for me,as long as this phone stable.it already has basic thing.even got GPS map build in for free is good enough.
Anyone bring nokia N9 to nokia service center for microsim issue?

Thanks in advance!

Bought in Malaysia, strange that I couldn't see any update in NSU. My NSU version is 3.0.560
If it's not the same as yours, mind directing me to the updated NSU? Thanks!
