When we talk about extension cable, it is not that extension bar that you bought from electrical shop, it is the long cable that comes with the Mac. If you're using the long cable that comes with the Macbook and still have this shocks, then you may need to get your house wiring checked.

well, i know what you guys are referring to. it is the extension cable from my mbp.
i'll give it a try again maybe tonight or tomorrow. as far as i can remember, it never helps.
i get the shocks on my mbp 2010 and also my mbp 2011 with or without the extension cable.

p/s: u guys must be asking how do i use it then? well, as long as i don't touch the body, i won't get shock. the keys and touch pad does not give me shocks.

i don't think its a faulty charger...

@private.G
thats what i thought too, using the extension cable will prevent the shocks but to my amaze it did not. maybe its like what bro wiraone said, my house's wiring problem.
how to use voltage stabilizer? lol

p/s: im kinda use to the shocks de, not bothering me a single bit though laugh.gif

Hi Guys,

Wondering anyone here using Macbookpro for photography post production?

I have a less-than-a-year-old macbookpro but its getting slower and slower, even after i've moved everything inside the HDD to externals.
leaving only 30+GB/750GB.

Its slow to the level that i cant even use the liquify  tool in Photoshop...

Can anyone please help me?  sad.gif
