apple, NEC, whatever, all are stuff that comes out of a factory. sure got some units that doesnt perform as good as it should. chargers, laptops, cars, etc. that's why we have warranty

so just bcuz yours died within 9 months, doesnt mean all apple charger died in 9 months. u cant talk about quality without using any sort of statistics

Hi guys , i been using laptop with so many year , dunno why feel that it getting slow & slow by day , never have such problem with desktop but facing with laptop , like after a year using , the processor macam drop become pentium 2 only =.=" , not as smooth as the first day purchase this laptop

so my question , will macbook pro facing this problem? Because i wish it can last for maybe 2~3 year? Upgrading every year will damage my pocket =(  Or funding for an iMac will be a good choice? hehe

Not sure to get the pro or air. I tink pro is more valueable in the long run. might be getting pro. will decide again during the next refresh.

i get some recommend for macbook pro 2011 13" with extra monitor (for better view) RM 3,699 i5 dual-core only + monitor (RM500~RM600)

pro: portable , i can doing photo editing outside cafe or bring to my gf house

iMac RM 3,799 can get 2.5GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 without need to extra monitor

pro: powerful device , but only can be use when i'm home
headache    Stil thinking do i need to bring macbook along when i going out?   
Is that alot different performance in term of this two iDevice ? Wish who have macbook pro and imac give me some recommend

anyone using mba 13'?
i just got my mba but i notice the base is having very irritating squeking sound when i use it in my lap or carrying the laptop with the base only.

Does anyone have such problem as me?

if its Apple Stock rams then it won't void warranties.
they will only void it when you sent in for a diagnose before claiming warranty for manufacturing defects.
you're adviseable to keep the old ram after upgrading to the new one, swap back to the old one when you need to send to ASP

Yeah, but i read from redmondpie rumors that 2012 line-up wont be including the optical drive as it get look-alike MBA design. Which is bad for me.
Wait for another 3-4mths to reach our shore. it will be easier to estimate when to reach our shore when Apple release official news on their 2012 lineups.

1. I use VLC or RealPlayer to play my avi or rmvb files on my mbp 13" 2.2ghz . But whenever i try to scroll through the movie/show, or drag thru the status bar, it would take about few seconds where everything will freeze then move again. Sometimes, the real/vlc would even crash. Is there something i can do with the lag-ness?

2. I am also using chrome for my surfing. sometimes when i switch my keyboard language using my own shortcut ie spacebar+apple key, chrome would hang. I need to wait quite sometime for it to process. this happens recently. nothing wrong before this. Any solution?

I have adobe PS, Microsoft office and some games installed. Would it slow down my mac?
