Just hit 370 ilevel, my guild is 6/7 FL...
Nothing much i can do except wait for FL raids in hopes for some 378 weapons.

AFAIK, there are no head & shoulders dps armor from FL.... so, prolly have to run more BoT.
Other than that, not much i can upgrade from now.

Time to retire this toon?

Looks okay to me , I mean you could do To4W or BOT for some drops or just wait. BTW , good attempt by your guild. For my FL (i managed to pug till beth b4 nerf and after nerf , managed to do all except rag).

kinda geared, except for all the zanda gotta change to FL gear. or BWD,BoT,4Wind will do as well...

Are you fury or arms ? you are pulling 16k to 17k ? , thats bad. For Firelands , you must be pulling 20K at least. If its 25M , its okay but 10M , your deepees , gotta be high , minimum PUGs were like 18k

17k ish dps is okay with that gear. got prepot? =)

Your 16k/17k-ish is in troll garden or in t11 raid, overall damage or single boss fight ?? Different raid composition will yield different result. But as a general reference, ilvl 370 fury should do somewhere around 20k ~ 23k in 10man FL raid. Check other top fury warr rotation to see how you can improve yourself.

At the moment, range DPS > melee in FL raid, melee cant compete at all, gotta wait until 4.3 where GC promised to provide more PvE buff to melee. FYI, mages huntard who pull 20k in raid can throw already haha... go overtake them !!

Fury is capable to get 20k dps in 359 gear, that is why they were nerfed in 4.2 to combat gear scaling out of hand in 378 gear.

If i can do 20k dps, i am already top dps in guild.
But everyone knows warrior is not the best dps.

I need to know which spec the hunter is in before I can comment. If mm hunter with ilvl 377 is only doing pure 20k, I can only say he is just doing a so so job. My group mm hunter with only 370 ilvl plus minus can easily pull 21k ~ 23k on FL. With all due respect to your guild, I dont think you should use your guild as a benchmark as the DPS seems quite low compare to the rest, refer to raidbot to get a better idea how much others are pulling.

As for GC promises, check out MMO-champion's interview with GC that talk about what to expect/changes in 4.3.

personally, chii think dps don't really matter here in FL raid. (at least 14k)
as long as all get the mechanic right, normally the boss will be one-shotted.

Fury is the best melee dps, followed by combat rogue and frost dk.

Here's an idea on how much dps is capable to pull on a Patchwerk style of fight. (I can think of Baleroc, and maybe to a certain extent Staghelm)

How to compare? First of all, they never even mention the gear.
Second, Patchwerk is a Tank and Spank fight, baleroc is not.
Baleroc u gotta run around taking crystals charges.

Staghelm u gotta run away from bomb ticks
All which are DPS loss.

I've uploaded your profile into simcraft, those are your gear.

It means that you, in your current gear, fully raid buffed, are able to get 24k dps on a patchwerk style of fight.

Now off course, the amount might be skewed dependant on your raid composition, strategy and so on.

I don't think there's a lot to run for Baleroc fight, maybe it's just your raid.

i've seen a fury warrior in me guild deal 21k in 10man FL...though ayam iz jelly one in my realm with full 391 valor gear with 391 sulfurasx2....
since you are still have half of the zanda gear 17k++ is still acceptable... and can even do FL 7/7. raggy got 18 mins of enrage time... you guys got plenty of time of kill him...

I finally got a chance to look at your armory. First improvement that you can do to your DPS, learn to gem correctly.

1. Never gem hit.
2. If the socket bonus is <20 strength gain, ignore the gem bonus. Gem it with a +40 str inferno ruby is way better.


2nd improvement, drop mining and get JC. JC bonus 67str*3 definitely going to help, be it you going to tank (3*67 mastery gem) in the future or going DPS.

Change the way you gem and see it helps.

Do you know at what % should a warrior stop stacking hit?
15% to 16%..... which i am nowhere near.

If follow ur logic, i should always gem for STR then regardless cos it is the most important stat right?

i second this, Mastery,Crit and Expertise > Hit, Haste for Warrior.
