How much for a new display module?

I wonder if we can use/mod display module from other 3.2inch phones to fit in our phone.
The AMOLED screen from the HTC Legend sure is great if it can fit to our phone , in theory it can be done since HTC legend and Mi 300 chipsets is identical.

I believe its a common issue with cm7.1 stable,try to bring down the notification and hold the download progress bar until the download bar move again.. its a little weird but ot work for me while I'm testing cm7.1 not long ago..

Currently I cannot be sure if flashing without wipe from other ROM is working or not, some said that it does work, some say they have problems. Although only MYGingerbread series ROM can be flash without data wipe between version (1.0.3 to 1.1.0 for example)

You can try, but I I recommend do a full titanium backup or ROM manager backup before trying to prevent data lose.
In theory, any ROM based on CM7 can flash to MYGingerbread Gaia without problem.

Depends on the rom you're using. Some rom support fulll hardware acceleration. Some user report that nfs shift plays well. Although no details given on is it oc or not..

ARMv6 and ARMv6 VFP are indeed the same, but, VFP means that the CPU have an FPU, or Floating Point Unit.

ARMv6 VFP by far are not proven to be faster then the original ARMv6 compatible CPU, but have more compatibility support in terms of media and application extension requirement. Meaning that some apps might not be able to start in original ARMv6, when ARMv6 VFP can run that particular app just fine.

Lucky for us Mi300 is indeed powered by ARMv6 VFP CPU (Qualcomm msm 7x27 SURF).

New tips, to check/confirm cpu properties, just go to the Terminal Emulator in your phone. And enter the following.

cat /proc/cpuinfo

walla, it should tell your CPU properties, under features: there should be listed supported extensions of the current CPU you're using, VFP should be listed there as well.

Try the following :

- Assure that driver are properly installed
- Change USB port that ure using
- Try multiple time
- Dont move the phone during flash, it might be wire issue
- Check file from botloader mode

just flash any kernel from recovery, reflash is no necessary since the battery life is effected by kernel only not ROM.
