If i'm not mistaken , in LN it was mention The spell Kirito used was illusion magic . The illusion magic make a player turn to monster .
But the monster appear is depends on the stat of the player .
He still have the stat of SAO . God like mode!

I remember in LN mention 1 of the mage panic and wrongly enchant spell and turn into end flame . Dint see it happen .

But this looks like surprice attack and instant KO .

The Story of Sword Art Online contain alots of detail which describe the beauty of "Story"

IF they just take some time to describe more detail and prolong the number of episode ( maybe 2 season ) It will become like legendary .

Remember kirito come back from His Hamburger dinner ? u can finish a burger in 30 sec ?

The story is epic . But the anime production company is only for the goal of completing it in 25 episode in 6 month?
