agreed, from the rare rabbit till the boss fight, that's like almost a quarter of the novel(and let me remind u for SAO vol1 that's like more than half the volume of the usual light novel) and they're gonna cramped it in one episode(not to mention its the main story... )

from my opinion based on the episodes so far, ill say they're gonna go till vol 4 with chronological order
so that means we're gonna go till ALO

basically, as this is a death game, u wanna keep your HP always at green
to do that, they usually go spamming their sword skill, but some skill have long cooldown and some movement delay after launching it and when the sword skill clash with enemy's sword skill, a knockback occurs and u and the enemy will both be stunned for a few sec(this is not good if u're alone fighting a group of mobs)

so they created the switch system where one or more person take the front while the others defend at the back, when all the skill is in cooldown or both u and the enemy is stunned, they switched position and launched their sword skill as the enemy is still stunned

this technique is very important for the people of the frontlines especially during the boss fight, as the switch skill also allows u to use potion after switching(note that their potion is regen type)

thats because u'll still get some HP reduced even if u defended against a sword skill, the switch technique is like a way to spam your sword skill with unlimited cooldown until the mob is down

the army is the guild with the most member in SAO(almost 1000)
and their actual name is not the army(forgot the real name though), but people call them that since they act as the law in SAO like punishing the orange member by locking them in the prison at 1st floor, though most of the time the member of the army abused their authorities by dominating the low leveled people(especially the one that decide to just stay at 1st floor)

their intention of going to the frontline is probably to kill the floor boss on their own to tell the frontliner about their abilities as a strong guild and have them listen to their orders too(usually the fronliner barely met the army as they only stay at lower level)

i think it was never said what item they get in the light novel(but i think its a gem)
as for Lizbeth, he told her(or rather just show it to her) when she finished making Dark Repulsor as she finds it weird that he wants a sword as strong as Elucidator, not stronger

frontliner is basically the people that's committed on clearing the game by being on the top floor going to the boss dungeon, without touching the other small dungeon at all(note that there are other dungeon-like place in one floor, like Forest of Bewilderment in Scilica's chapter)
to stay safe, they basically stays 10 level above every floor(for example for floor 78, frontliner is at least lvl 88, whereas Kirito is usually 5-6 lvls above lvl 88)

usually they go to lower floor only to get some rest(as thats where their home is), get materials, trading, or other stuff but usually not for long as they dont want to get left behind

from my memory, his auto regen is almost at max lvl, and that was around 20 floors ago(lvl78, HP 14500, regen 600HP in 10 sec)
so now is floor 74, where the safe margin is 10 lvl above that, and kirito is always 5-6 levels ahead, lets say he's lvl90 with HP 20000 and regen of like 750HP(which is like around 3.5%HP regen per 10sec)

i doubt a floor boss would deal a damage less than 3.5% of his HP in 10 sec, i'll say at least 20%HP
so i'll say that the auto regen is there, slowly healing him, and might have been what just saved him

yeah, in light novel at least there's one or two more person i think, but i guess they skipped that(dont want people to blame Kirito too much for their death)

for hand combat, i remember they got hand-to-hand combat skill in SAO, but didn't remember Kirito maxing it
but yeah, they also have skill activation but not that powerful as sword skill, usually used as last resort or when u're disarmed

marriage in SAO is quiet simple actually
u need to send a marriage request to the other person, and she/he would just have to accept it to get married
once married, your inventory and money will be shared symbolizing u cant hide anything from your partner
