you may try read this and its links if you want

Selecting PRS Providers & Funds

PB sucks. Pay 3% SC. If you buy PRS from FSM, it's 0% service charge.

Most of us have a combo of Option 1 & Option 2 or perhaps more than that including other kinds of financial investment instruments.

But majority of us go for Option 1 with min required investment capital/amount solely for tax relief purpose.

do you mean option 2 not able to get tax relief?
im planning to get one for tax relief. possible to buy from fsm?

Option 2: Non-PRS

Normal investment in unit trusts are not entitled to tax relief.

Only PRS funds are eligble for tax relief till 2021.

oh.. i read wrongly..
i thought option 2 is prs fund but buy from fsm.. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
