Hi all, I purchased RM1k of Kenanga PRS Growth Fund via PRS website just to get RM1k youth incentive from govt. However, Kenanga PRS Growth Fund NAV really drop like shit. I am thinking want to buy Affin-Hwang/M+ PRS fund via PRS website and failed. Should I go to their individual website to buy their PRS fund?

Appreciate someone can help.

Open account on https://www.eunittrust.com.my which is under Phillip Mutual, and choose the PRS fund from various PRS providers you like with 0% sales charge.

so eUT is better than FSM ? if so, why?

For starter, compare the fees and sale charges between these two and see which work for you..

I don't use FSM, so I can't give a fair comparison. That said, there is no fee for the funds I bought from eUT.

You need to submit form everytime you want to buy from a new fund house. Fsm will format the respective form to respetive fund house for you.

Ok, similar process with eUT which I am using. Hopefully these two platforms could automate more of the manual processes.

If you're planning to buy PRS funds from either Affin Hwang, Kenanga, or Principal PRS, with FSM, no forms are required.

Depends on how long you hold those funds.

If you use this website to check, you will see their performance is meh.

You're comparing a fund with less than 3 years RetireEasy2050 with that of more than 10 years AHAM Growth.

PRS scheme was launched in 2012, those who have invested in AHAM Growth would have compounded gains compared to when they have waited to invest in RetireEasy2050 which is only available in nearing Q4 2022. Not pragmatic isn't it?

That said, the US market started to rise just recently and all funds will float up as well, especially if they have the exposure to that market.

Can I just purchase 3 year PRS then stop paying?

Ppl invested in PRS solely because of the 3K tax incentive; which is until 2025 next year, unless extended again.

Most would unlikely to top up further beyond this extension as there are other better means of investment out there.
