The eight PRS Providers approved by SC so far are:

AmInvestment Management Sdn Bhd,
American International Assurance Bhd,
CIMB-Principal Asset Management Bhd,
Hwang Investment Management Bhd,
ING Funds Bhd;
Manulife Unit Trust Bhd,
Public Mutual Bhd, and
RHB Investment Management Sdn Bhd.

For ING Funds, currently we not yet have any product that is under PRS since the approval was just announced this month. Probably will take 2 to 3 months before we can launch a product that is suitable for PRS.

Good things are worth the wait!
Regards,
Gavin Lim from ING

Thanks Gavin for the info. I have verified the info over STAR newspaper on the 6th April, 2012.

I was wondering how come andy_lyy claims that only one company has the approval? tongue.gif

I have invested some of my money in Public Mutual PRS funds but wouldl like to further diversify my investment portfolio other than investing in my existing fund management company. Anyone has any good experience in PRS fund investment over the past few years? My thanks in advance!

she is referring to you IronMman16 lah
It's already very diversified. you may try to invest in the same investment bank but different fund. I put my money in PM Strategic equity and it does what it reported.

On the other hand, I have never invested in Principal PRS but i bought their other fund (Principal Dynamic Enhanced Malaysia Income Fund) and the report does not really reflect the actual performance.

Added: I just read about Principal PRS Plus Asia Pac Ex Jpn Eq A Indeed the only fund managed to achieved double digit growth. i didn't even care at the first place because i lost hope on Principal due to the reason above

Thank you for your info! Pertaining to PM Strategic Equity, can you share your experience investing in this fund?

Was considering Affin/Principal/PM

I picked this fund after doing my own due diligent due to the following:-
1. Exposure of foreign market at more than 70%, the company that they invest in is stable and good growth potential (abit skeptical on china and HK, but i guess other fund are not spared from it. so it's a risk for reward type)
2. The fund report is detailed enough, you can obtain easily
3. Have more trust on Public bank compared to others since my money is going to invest into it until i retire
4. I have friends that doing PM UTC

so far annualized gain is around 9%, average over past 4 years.
