PRS Public Mutual did very badly over the last 6 months. I noted the positive returns in the prior period and the negative cumulative return for the periods.

Better to put in ASM or Wawasan 2020. More or less guaranteed positive yearly return and the brought forward balances will never be affected.

The biggest benefit of PRS is the the tax relief part. Taking that relief into calculation, the actual return is around 14.XX%. Read back few pages for the calculation working.

The fact is the fund house of your units continues their profit from the fees. Either good time or bad time, their profit does not affect.

Correct. that is something we have to pay as they need to pay salaries as well.

PRS funds are too conservative to take higher risks.

Other funds under PM such as Dividend and Equity Funds still perform.

I did not use Public Mutual Berhad PRS service. My ROI is still
positive after three years.

A misstep for the PRS. Others ok.

No sales charges from Public Mutual's PRS?
looks different here https://www.sc.com.my/prive-retirement-sche...fee-comparison/

anyhow - there are certainly annual management fees & trustee fees

I placed in prs with public mutual. Every year top up 3k for tax relief. The damn thing is 3% charge (RM90)just for depositing my chèque. If I deposit 30k, they would have taken RM900. No wonder after 3 years still negative. Only consolation is 750 tax savings per year.
