Recently, I am thinking about getting milk for my breakfast. But before that, there are so many things I want to know about milk.

Compare to Milo, what kind of benefits that milk can give to me? I am not really sure about the benefits of the Milo as I only drinking it because I was drinking it since I am young. In fact, is drinking Milo even healthy at the first place?

I hope there is someone in this section can help me with this matter.

Milo is more or less full of simple sugar. With milk, you have a good source of protein, calcium and other vitamins and minerals. I think that pretty much speaks for itself, no?

Milo has more sugar than milk, so milk is preferable.

Milk isn't exactly nutritious to human beings..it's meant for cows lol. I've heard many gastrologists saying that before..they don't publicise it since the industry is so lucrative

More of a "whey protein shake first thing in the morning, casein right before bed" kinda guy, but I'd say milk above Milo for sure. Unless of course you're gonna need that extra glucose rush early in the morning. I do mix my casein with low fat milk and water though, nothing else.

but i thought caffeine will 'wash away' calcium, while milk provide calcium. if we mix caffein & milk, will we still get the calcium or will it 'washed away'? hmm.gif

Actually if i'm not mistaken milo uses creamer(palm oil) as a milk subsitute.
obviously milk is better from nutrition point of view.
