Evening people,

I am another one of the victims by the seller. Before this, I've actually bought and received two products, and currently waiting for my third before he went AWOL. Here's my info:

Lelong ID: podek78
Item: LG Optimus Pad
Total Paid: RM905 + RM25 = RM930

If the admin in charged wishes to do a collective police report, please email me at podek78@gmail.com to set a date and time. If this is not possible, then I may lodge my own report by the end of next week.

Let us hope that we can find some way to get our hard earned income back.

well, the newspaper should be tactful in their writing. In the event that the SOB is charged in court and somehow found not guilty, he can sue the papers if they write his name down. It's just the sick, demented world that we live in where the legal system can be manipulated if the person can find any loopholes within the system

Just my 2 cents

maybe if lelong delay again, you can do report on them with consumer tribunal for cheating customer and police reporting for abetting with conmen. anything to make their pants hot.

Unfortunately, the function of Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia is not handing judgment on civil claims. However, for those who'd failed on their BPP claim, you can submit a case to TTPM in order to get your claim back. Submitting a claim to TTPM costs only RM5, and if the counselor decides that they have to pay us back, they need to do so within 14 days. I have a personal experience with TTPM in this matter, though my case was not regarding online purchases.

This is what I understand from my phone conversation with Lelong's BPP personnel regarding the claim amount

1. Maximum claim is only RM1000
2. Should your claim exceeds RM1000, they will only reimburse RM1000.
3. Only one item per seller can be claimed. So if you have multiple items, only the item with the highest value will be taken into consideration while still adhering to the RM1000 maximum limit.

Therefore, since I guess we have different cases in terms of our deal with QiLing, therefore our claim will also be different based on the rules above.
