just finished watching gundam X....
any fans here?
the series is hmm... what can I say, a lil bit like Eureka Seven. Boy meets Girl. Girl has mysterious power....
garrod is just like renton, and tiffa is eureka....
but what I really like about this story is the plot is simple, and the narrator helps to describe some phenomenon, which will not leave the viewer with much questions about the story background.
and I love the 1st ED, HUMAN TOUCH

just watched turnA...
the most fun or rather I say funniest of all GUndam series....
keep aside the mecha design, got some fanservice, nude boy piloting gundam with a girl, zappelin, propelled aeroplane, idiot soldier try to return to earth from space inside a wine barrel, the sunglassed-royal guard of the queen helping the enemy cutting(?) the wheat at the field,
pink spaceship with cute whale logos, and battle of the idiots has made several nuclear explosion in a single night on a mountain....

for me the UCs (earlier and CCA) and turnA was good....
.... remember how I lol'ed when read an interview with tomino, and his opinion about the Seed series... He never watch them! lol'd again....

for those who are searching the greatness of the 1st Gundam...
you can find the manga, GUNDAM THE ORIGIN (translated) at tokyotosho.
the manga was drawn by Yoshihito Yoshikazu, the original character designer for the 1st GUNDAM.
believe me, his drawing quality and the storyline is superb!
I'm currently collecting this manga, up to volume 14.
for those who had never watch the 1st gundam coz of the animation quality, here is the alternate option to enjoy the series!
