QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Nov 14 2006, 09:23 AM) Speaking of which, what about Akatsuki's bling? It blocks everything, except beam sabres? WTF? Aren't beam sabres similar to beam rifles? If it can block rifle shots, why can't it block sabres? ok, GS topic...I'm in Last but not least, Kira vs Amuro. An obvious victory for Kira. Kira will not die even if you chop off his head and dissect his entire body. Or blow a nuke in front of him. Or stab him with beam sabres. Or electrocute him. He will only die if the fanboys and fangirls let him. Providence is the strongest mecha in GS (MSVs aside). A Freedom + Meteor got owned so hard that it almost lost the fight. Freedom got the head chopped off, the legs blown off, and also one arm. Providence only lost an arm. PROVIDENCE IS THE KING !! Akatsuki's mirror effect is basically...like a mirror. You can shoot a lazer at it and it will bounce back like in real life. Yes, beam sabers sound a lot like the same beam that comes out of the rifle...but it only sounds that way. In actual fact, its different, somehow Kira - dissect, nuke, stab, electrocute... Providence came out at the very end of the series, not surprising that its stronger. It also is the first mecha in the show to be equipted with DRAGOON, which was later implemented in SF. Kira probably lost arm, leg to him because it was the first time fighting such a thing. And there is the disadvantage of fighting DRAGOON with something as big as METEOR. |

QUOTE(redeye84 @ Nov 15 2006, 03:23 AM) Starghazzer is our fellow forummer...I think you meant Stargazer but the ending really sucks. I feel like the whole series was completely pointless. Except to show how Phantom Pain's ship actually "disappeared" in the series. |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 11 2006, 09:03 AM) ONLY romantic relationship that Kira had.... erm... Kira basically stole everybody's girlfriend... and almost got involved with his own sister.... ZOMFG no la, he didn't get involved with his own sis la. They didn't even know of their relationship that time. Heck, not even us Come to think of it...Asuran is more of the womanizer here. First engaged with Lacus, then relationship with Cagali, and now he's with...err...that Zaft girl |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 12 2006, 12:45 AM) I actually like the old style of animation I dun like old style animation...the action/comedy scenes are very...static. Yes, I know that the new ones aren't that good either. For example we see a lot of re-used battle scenes in Gundam Seed and especially GSD, but there are other anime series who use new "styles" and get good results Unicorn is only a novel ler... |

Ban Dai did a very good job in introducing the Strike Freedom, but what they did with Strike, being shot down by Zaku or Gouf is just rubbish. They're probably too lazy to make a more logical scene

25 Zaku and Gouf all not aiming on Strike and Gaia alone lah. Most of them were focused on Eternal while Strike and Gaia only battled a few. That part where you saw 25 of them is actually Strike Freedom on the offensive side...

QUOTE(tan_pang @ Dec 19 2006, 05:03 PM) btw, someone tell me that the gundam color decide how hard the armor will be in GS 1 word, 8 letters - nonsenseif the color of the gundam is darker, then the armor will be harder but if the color is ligher, then the armor will be easier to penetrate, but the speed will be faster... can someone tell me that is this true?? QUOTE(angrim @ Dec 19 2006, 06:39 PM) n the power of the beam weapons in GW seems to be too ridiculous. GW zero's twin buster riffle can destroy the entire colony in one shot. Aside from DX's satelite cannon and Turn-A, i have never seen any gundams capable of doing that. Still this cannot compare to the beam spamming aimbot Strike freedom, now with Dragoons, man i hate that mech. yeah, I still remember those twin rifle shots...even GW cannot tahan the rifle shots in EW |

QUOTE(tan_pang @ Dec 20 2006, 12:39 AM) haha ask your friend to stop watching cartoons. Its making him more stupid. The only reason Strike Rogue changed color from red to white was just to show that Kira is piloting it. But if you want to speak in technical terms...I'm guessing that Kira has changed the color of Strike Rogue even before he got onto it. Remember the scene when Kira was called by the bridge...after the Captain of ArchAngel found out that Eternal was under attack? He was already in the Strike Rogue cockpit when he was called, meaning he probably changed the color of Strike Rogue at that time. Its logical actually...he needs the mecha more than Cagail...so he was probably in the midst of changing the setup to how he likes. thx!!! but he explain to me that why Strike Rogue change color from red to white becoz of the speed that Kira demand to, thats why he change the Phase Shift Armor color to lighter color so that can get up to space faster... QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 20 2006, 12:02 PM) Wrong info again... Phase Shift protects against physical attacks, ie bullets, punches, solid blades and explosions, but beams pierce through phase shift easily. Beams can only be stopped by anti-beam coating (like shields) or well, beams themselves. Oh yeah, don't forget the godly PLOT ARMOR too. yes, if you remember correctly...the introduction in GS showed the Ginn (or watever) using the sword against Strike and the PS Armor protected Strike. Even that masked guy who was piloting the white mecha that time couldn't penetrate the PS armor with his "advanced" bullets. But if you remember correctly...there was one occasion where Strike was hit at the leg by a laser and...well, there was a hole. This post has been edited by young_soul: Dec 20 2006, 01:55 PM |

QUOTE(tsubasa89 @ Dec 22 2006, 01:30 AM) just watched the Gundam Evolve episode 8...which has STRIKE in it!!... where did you get GUndam Evolve from?after i finished that...the only thing i had in mind was..."WOW!!"... that STRIKE rocks.... it'll be great if the action of the Gundam Evolve can be inserted into the main storyline of GS or GSD...even with bad storyline,it could still have some eye-dropping action fights scene... |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Jan 21 2007, 12:04 PM) Seriously, the giant-backpack obsession of CE has gotta stop wah, new modifications?![]() Rosso Aegis still looks decent, and I actually prefer the smaller side waist armors compared to the old petal-like ones. But damn them for removing the sexy spiked feet !! Nero Blitz... ah... burn in hell... what happened to sleekness? stop designing ketam pincers in every CE gundam... Testament's crab claw already looked like crap, and now Nero Blitz have two of them at the back. Somebody please... save CE designs... Aegis looks nice...what are the functions of the backpack? Blitz... |

I'm a little confused right now...
there's Gundam Unicorn and there's Gundam Double 0 which are they gonna release first? Or is Unicorn only for manga? |
