If your purpose is for the spend and get CB campaign, maybe can try applying a different type of CC? That is what I plan to do if my application is not successful.

But you have submitted your application right? Wondering how fast will the cancelled card be removed from the record. I did the same, cancelled my SCB cc to increase my chance as I applied for HLB Wise as well. But your case, you still have your Wise so will cancelling Mach make any difference, assuming they share the CL.
