400MYR/Seagate 750gb = 0.53..
332.8MYR?/Seagate 640gb = 0.52
260MYR/Seagate 500gb = 0.52
---------
285MYR/WD 640gb = 0.4453125 per gb
Of Course WD have Black line which is USD199 for 750gb
---------
Seems like Seagate will join SSD soon

QUOTE(arkard @ Jul 5 2008, 11:12 AM) Hey guys, noob question to entertain here, is RAID a physical configuration as in I need to have 2 identical sized HDD's or is there a possibility to have a single HDD partitioned in half to support either RAID 0 or 1. thanks in advance fellas! RAID no need identical sized HDD Not possible to partitioned half to raid, but you can do 0+1 where you need 3 disk Hard Disk still dropping?

QUOTE(Dai Li @ Jul 6 2008, 10:00 AM) my newly bought seagate 500gb is faulty le..got sound..when format 80gb partition only also take few hours..then the sounds keeps on coming from the hdd how long does rma usually take? which shop you buy from, you may ask for 1week 1 to 1 exchange? or else you may direct RMA to Seagate (key in Seagate website first, print out the paper, and send to the location), estimate time 2 weeks to return to you.
