Spot on, Gio would struggle against large defender when chasing long passes. With short passes atleast he can try to
beat em 1 on 1 @ open some space for others with his pace & footwork

Actually do we need to sign Rubinho? Now we have 4 keepers in our ranks, excluding leali.

Leali is send out on loan to gain more playing time. Branescu is still inexperienced GK while Rubinho is quite experienced GK
having play in couple of serie a teams. So i think its okay for us to have a free agent experienced GK as a backup to both Gigi & Marco

Finally not some make-shift squad against England....that team was a pale shadow compared to this team.

I have a feeling that with the exclusion of Cassano, Diamanti has a higher weight on his shadows to provide the creativity upfront.

And ironically, both Cassano and Pazzini paled after both of them self Sampdoria. I saw how deadly their partnership was and yet they were never played together ever again after their Sampdoria stint.

In the meantime, great to see a lot of young strikers in the team. Even Inzigne is in the team

Poli and Veratti finally got their senior callup that they desrved....

its not like everyday u can heard 'the special one' praising someone(sincerely, without sarcastic remarks) let alone the coach of his former rival team
