Club Anthem

HISTORY

Legend has it that one day over a century ago, November 1, 1897 to be exact, a group of youngsters age 14 to 17 from the D'Anzeglio High School in Turin, sitting on an uncomfortable bench on a street called Corso Re Umberto, decided to start a sports club with the aim of playing football. The same legend has it that the club was called "Juventus" more or less by chance, and that the name was immediately loved and adopted as a way of life.

The Bench that started it all

The Club, who's first president was Enrico Cafari, changed headquarters often but soon made a name for itself against many more expert teams in town. The players weared pink jerseys. Juventus made their debut in the Italian championship in 1900, wearing this uniform. The black and white one was imported directly from Nottingham in 1903. The team played in Piazza d'Armi. Meanwhile some of the early games were played on a field near the current train station of Porta Susa. This field was soon covered by buildings and Juventus rented a field on the Motovelodromo Umberto I in the Crocetta part of town instead. Juventus played here until 1906. Juventus then moved to the north of the city and the Stadio di Corso Marsiglia. This small stadium was known as “Campo Juventus" in Turin.

JUVENTUS KIT 2012/2013

user posted image

Home kit

The new kits, designed by long-standing partner Nike, feature new sponsor Jeep and bear an inscription reading ’30 sul campo’ to honour last season’s Scudetto triumph.

The new kits include a strong link to the club’s past: the four vertical stripes represent the values championed by the Agnellis since they took charge of Juventus in 1923: family, union, loyalty and honour.

Moreover, there are various fine touches which make the shirts even more special. Inside the collar, for example, Giampiero Boniperti’s famous motto ‘Winning isn’t important, it’s the only thing that counts’ can be found.

As previously announced, an inscription bearing ’30 sul campo’ is written underneath the club badge. And while the Scudetto stars are no longer present on matchday shirts, they do appear above the badge in the version on sale to supporters. An extra third star can be added at any of the club’s stores.”

Away kit

The crew neck design is inspired by the 1941-42 Coppa Italia winning jersey. The inner neck graphic on the shirt is a club motto – “Vincere Non È Importante È L’Unica Cosa che Conta” (Winning is not important, it is everything), symbol sentence by Giampiero Boniperti.

The new Away jersey will be sold in its version with the 2 stars above the Juventus FC crest. For all Juventus supporters the next season jersey will come along with the Scudetto and a special written patch “30 sul campo” (30 well-earned on pitch).

Yeah but can't help it. International breaks are needed for those qualifiers, otherwise we wont have world cup, euro etc. Also countries need to play games from time to time.

We got more depth this season. Just hope our strikers be healthy...

And I think supermario pulled out from the national team due to a knock.

Mr Silppery injured? But still im less worry unlike last season bcoz we got capable replacement.. Either Pepe, Elia, Marcelo can play as left winger.. As for Krasic he need to keep up his game...bcoz knowing Conte, he can bench any player he want.. Even ADP doesn't got to be in action against Milan..
