I'm driving Altis 1.8G 2004 model . Had the 4 tyres changed to 195/50/16R CPC2 tyres in Ipoh . They costed me RM330 per tyre and RM30 for wheel alignment . Superb grip on the wet high way ( trade wear 280 ) but noisier than my previous Yokohama A drive 195/50/16R.

Added on August 28, 2012, 5:34 pmI chose CC5 cuz i don't wanna see the same tyre for too long. Will get bored of the thread. Soft tyre is good for comfort. i like comfort and okay with just 10K km lesser compare to others. =D

Till now i use CC5, really silent on road travelling around 120 to 140, not so much roaring compared to last time

guys..recommend me cheap2 new tire..size 14"...not care any brand...as long as new one..

CC5 consider Continental basic & cheapest tyre normally for oem used like proton. Mazda oem with Conti mid tyre Maxcontact. Peugeot 308Turbo provide Continental best performance tyre SportContact(expensive & fast finish). For me my target is the best & lasting tyre for safety(wet & dry), confident, comfort & safe budget like Goodyear Asymmetric2 but not produce my tyre size 225/50/17. Even Hin Leong bos(I call him Panjang) not recommended me using CC5 or Nexen N8000(good performance) coz he said too soft for our unsafe/dangerous road(byk lobang). He recommended me using Toyo C1S or at least Neuton NT8000/5000(cheap but good).

Anyway, I'm not conti fan & don't have experienced with conti tyre.

haha i'm not conti fan either, but but that day i buy other no stock dy, just between Bridgestone ER30 and that CC5, i asked the one of the worker (dunno name, but keep smoking and macam aaron kwok), he say cc5 soft, er30 hard.. u choose lor.

Normally I don't want ask that guy(Aaron Kwok style), I prefer with bos or uncle or thin guy green shirt. Sometime asked bos wife inside. That guy you deal most of the time look unfriendly & don't come during peek time(or during weekend). I pefer deal in early morning(when shop open). Actually they have many brand choices & also can order if not available in store. Anyway their price among the cheapest & can get discount if fix at other shop(takeaway).

My recommendation try Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2(excellent grip & comfort) or Toyo C1S or Conti CSC5(expensive & fast finish) or Hankook S1 Evo2 or Kumho KU39 or Michelin PS3 or Nexen N8000 or Neuton NT8000(cheapest but good). All consider comfort & quiet plus good performance. Read user/pro review/rating at google search. Many other tyre also good grip but not quiet/comfort like Conti Max, Toyo R1R/T1R, & many more.
