Aircon cooler?

After the R134a gas been compressed, it become cool, the compressed/cool gas are sent to the cooling coil inside the cabin.

Then I shall try wrapping it using insuflex biggrin.gif

The pipe is actually small, the insulator is what that makes it looks thick.. But adding another layer of insulator won't be a crime.. Try it out and share with us the feedback..

Just arrived JB from seremban.. For 277km, cruising at constant speed of 110kmh using cruise control at the highway, and 80kmh from skudai toll to larkin , using Caltex95, it cost me RM31.15... And I'm happy with it..

Way cheaper than taking a bus. .hehe.
*
Where got cheaper? Petrol RM31.15, Toll RM33.30, Nescafe Classic RM2.30, altogether RM 66.75.. If take bus only RM26.00 plus cab RM10.00.. The only thing that makes me prefer driving is because I'm not attached to the bus schedule and I can start moving whenever I wanted to..

Since you have change the extractor, if you use back the original midbox and muffler the "tin kosong" sound will appear, that time it will be more noisy.
*
I'm wondering, if we use thermal wrap at the extractor, will it eliminates the empty can sound? Hmm..

the empty can sound not coming from the extractor, extractor normally not produce any sound is the mid box, bullet that make the empty sound.
*
So, if use stock midbox, bullet and muffler, will it sounds as quite as standard setup using cat-con?

The next service for my Persona is 80K, and i believe this is the major service where i need to change the timing belt.

if i bring it back to Proton SC and do the service, how much they will charge?
does it cost much cheaper if i change the timing belt outside?
*
Change outside definitely will be cheaper.. But be careful when buying the timing belt.. Make sure its the original wan..

QUOTE(RokXIII @ Oct 16 2011, 01:11 AM)
actually im still doing the service in the Proton SC (every 10K), so i guess i will still going back to them for the 80K service.
so if i just do other services, like changing the engine oil, filter, gear oil, etc... and exclude changing the timing belt, will it void the warranty?
*
My PE warranty is for 50k KM or 2years.. Maybe u opt for the extended warranty perhaps? I guess, if its still under warranty, might be void as u have not follow the suggested service stated in the service booklet..

That day which member install the D-Shape rubber on the door? Any review before  & after ?
*
it was me.. well.. i bought the full set, Big-D, Small-D and P-Shaped..
from what i see, its totally useless for a new car, in fact, it worsen the noise.. mega_shok.gif

the original rubber at our door is actually doing good its job good enough.. i thought, after install that additional rubber, can eliminates the sound like 100% one.. but its actually not that what ive expected it to be.. the rubber was actually making the door harder to be closed.. have to bang hard.. and when it closed, now the gap is larger compared with before installation.. well i guess, for vehicles which is more than 2 years and frequently park under hot sun may benefit from the extra rubber.. but definitely not a new car.. in the end, i just use the P-shaped wan to install at the bottom side of the door so that excess water wont come in.. what a waste of money..

p/s : oh yeah, if anyone wanna ask, the answer is "no, i didn't install it wrongly.. its the seller who installed it for me himself, exactly like he installed it at his car.." btw his car is persona-se.. but hey, if anyone wanna try to install, by all means, carry on, maybe the result is different.. as for me, ive already take out the rubber and being happy with the oem rubber..
