Considering what has been observed of late over our thread has been very much the same thing going into bashing our new players (ala not living up to price tags, not living up to standards, etc etc)
I have a question for the more intellectual ones and not the whiners. What is Liverpool's standard? Was it really Liverpool's way of buying to win? Or has it always been investment into the young albeit growing potentials that we have seen so many times that forms a team?
I am sure I don't have to repeat myself for saying things like who and who also had a slow start in his career at Liverpool and they became legends in the end. I am sure most of you here (yes even the whiners) are already mature enough to admit giving Lucas or Xabi or many others the stick for not "living up to standard" for "your" team. Hey I myself made many unwarranted statements about Lucas. Now look where he is?
Are we all suddenly better football managers now just because we play a little fantasy football and think buying so-and-so players are as easy as clicking on a button?! Don't be twats and grow up. Just because some players show ambition coming to the Premier League doesn't make them necessarily coming to join Liverpool. Get your heads out of your asses. What have Liverpool to offer this season besides a fat paycheck? We needed to select those who would want to play for the team/manager/fans not trying to grab a mercenary and in the end gets themselves write in a transfer request to be shipped off at the first signs of trouble.
One of the few reasons I hardly write in here anymore besides the dumb twatty Manc trolls are a bunch of whining self obsessed fans who thinks the world should work according to their damn schedule. Many things unseen as they happen behind the scene that makes this a complex game (more complex compared to 15 years ago). Let the club professionals and team handle this growth. We are doing well. Still on target. Minor setbacks but not off the block completely compared to last year at the same time.
I am contented with knowing we are improving at the moment.
We have a star in Suarez.
Big Andy is picking his time to come in and has scored a couple.
Henderson is slowly showing he can produce some plays.
I will reserve my comments on Downing but it's unfair to say he is poor because it was you guys praising him at the start of the season so don't be hypocritical.
Jose Enrique has already solved our left problems.
Adam, well he is sort of unpredictable so it's still early.
To be fair, these guys all played less than a year for us and if you expect everyone to be a Suarez then please get out of whatever you've been smoking as you are definitely lost in your own high.
Oh and lastly... YNWA!!!
