yesterday match
-Carrol hit the cross bar in first few minutes
-Agger's header did not hit the target despite the goal mouth at his mercy
-Enrique failed to put in a simple cross when all he needed was just to put in in Kuyt's path
-Kuyt was caught offside (rightly so) but its was inches and i've seen goals allowed in same situation
-The several outstanding saves by the keeper
-Even Downing came close with one effort

I mean....the problem last night was we couldn't score... not that we were sitting back or we can't find a way through a parked bus....

I didn't see the MU match but from what i heard, they found it difficult against Sunderland too....it takes an ex player to help them get the single goal...
I am not making excuse, its just frustrating to see the goal not arriving last night...but more frustrating to come here and see comments asking for manager to be sacked and half the team to be sold off....

Enrique was as bad as well last night. I don;t know whta it was but there were times when both our fullbacks were just parked outside not wanting to go forward. In any case, the fullbacks movement is mostly dependant on the players in front of them and the upfront players were having their own sets of problems. A lot of things were wrong last night. Suarez didn't look as sharp and when he did, everyone else was fraction second slower to his speed of thought. The problems were mostly the movement (or the lack of it) up front by Downing, Suarez and Henderson (Kuyt in the 2nd half). In the first half we were practically playing with 10 men as Henderson went missing. By the time Kuyt came in, Downing started to go missing and Suarez was still struggling to find form. And by the time we woken up, it was already too late.
