 Mass Gainer or Whey Protein?, Need info about them

Hi guys,
I've been working out for awhile now and I've decided to get one of these supplements.After I've been working out,I found out I've been losing weight and stuff like that.As I'm still a high school student,I do not know which one is better to get and would like some more info about them.I'm trying to find one which can maximize my muscle growth as well as bulk.
Furthermore,which shops can I buy them from?(My mum refuses to pay for online ones for various reasons :/)
As for the whey protein,I'm looking for one which does not use too much artificial flavorings and too much of other unhealthy stuff like that,could someone recommend me a stuitable brand?

Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass is the best bro,get them from EGO nutrition @ Subang Parade,but u can get it cheaper thru online shop

Whats the diff between Lean mass gainer compared to whey protein?
Will lean mass gainer such as ON's Pro complex make me fat if let say I only workout bout 20-30mins a day?

i'm not a pro, but i'll try to explain based on my readings. even whey protein, if not well utilised, by means your work out is not on par with your protein consumption, will turn into fat. so, to make it easy, push yourself to the limit once u consume protein or whatever supplements thats in your mind. as for me, i think 20-30mins is not enough. i myself spend at least an hour at the gym.

based on serving size, serious mass would last you a month while whey should last 2. That's my observation.

Heck even I was contemplating since both are at the same price.

I'm on both.

Started with Whey (ON 100% Gold) but gained about 1-1.5 kg only in about 3 weeks. (4-3 times workout per week, 2 scoops post workout)

Now starting my serious mass for 2 days already. Taking it as breakfast 1 scoop each morning. And now post workout 2 scoop whey, 1 small scoop serious mass using the 100% GOLD's spoon. Just to add another 200 callories. =)

The probiotic series hasn't lived up to the good flavour reviews of the old Myofusion.

Can you suggest me some good whey or mass gainer(taste and effectiveness)?
I have tried dymatize elite whey gourmet and probiotic myofusion and they taste really bad..nitrotech,serious mass and real mass is still acceptable.
Do you have any better suggestion?

with mass gainer u need to play with calories and servings..determine how much calories surplus you need.

for example if mass fusion 16lbs..

950 calories per serving
47 g protein
rm200 for 31 servings

if u want to bulk leaner..take half a serving..and add 1 scoop of whey.
that will be:

575 calories
50g protein
rm200 for 62 servings.

because for most people .. if you just simply add 1000 calories to your diet, you can so easily get fat. experts usually recommend to add only around 300 - 500 calories to your diet in order to gain mass without adding so much fat.

if you have trouble reaching your caloric intake target through your daily eat (by your normal food. either not enuf time to cook or eat), get mass gainer.
if you have no problems forcing in food but you realize that reaching dat 2g/kg protein requirement through your current diet, get whey.
they are just supplements.

but if its about brands, ive been loyal to ON for a long time. either mass gainer or their whey. chocolate all the way by the way.

Did you try optimum nutrition 100 whey gold standard - extreme milk chocolate before? taste nice or too sweet?
for me probiotic myofusion is too sweet..how about this?

GNC's products are sold for a much higher price as compared to other places (Online or other suppliers). You're basically just helping them pay their rent.
