Finally got my first Android device after Blackberr-ing for so many years!

Proud owner of the GTab 7.0 Plus!

Quick review:
Good screen display - direct under sunlight not really good
Not really laggy but the 1.2ghz cpu is not enough
16gb internal and 8gb external = 24gb of goodness
Using P1000 casing which cover off my ear piece
battery life not as i've expected
sometime the Sim card not detect (is this i major problem? i need to restart my device when it happen)
No much physical key (especially when the touch sensitive key is no longer there)

3.2 HC
I hate the new notification system - push notification far below my expectation
the new replacement for the touch sensitive key is too small below the screen. hard to press

need to have KIES installed first..

Argh I'm still having this Sim card problem! Should i go back for warranty? and btw, my tab get hot when charging, i mean its quite hot - more than i have expected..

besides, the charging period seems long (maybe for the 4kmahz battery?)

Anyone rooted their device yet?

3. Tiny Tower <- Real cute game, support friends too (Cheers Mobage)
4. GO Launcer (the keyboard, task manager, calendar and locker is thumbs up)
5. One Touch Optimizer
6. Dolphin browser HD
7. GO Keyboard - landscape mode can use thumb keyboard, they call it PAD.
8. Smart App Protector
9. Apps Organizer
10. Tablified Market <- Categorize tablet apps!
11. EcoCharge
12. Dropbox
13. GOOGLE APPS (ALL OF IT! - Sky, Plus, Goggles etc)
14. For e-book -> Kobo and eBooks
15. Soundhound or Shazam is good

BTW, I've root my device so can explore more!

More or else the same, but Rooting in android is same as gaining Administration control of your PC, or Super User in android. You can access some drive's file which usual user cannot.

After rooting you can install apps which only compatible with rooted device. such as SetCpu, BusyBox and etc. will not void your warranty because you can always un-root the device

Good enough to serve you both a tablet and phone. normal phone cannot give you the screen big enough for surfing and watching video. and get a good casing, can work as organizer as well as a name card holder!

find an apps name Elixir, it can add a shortcut to hotspot in ur status bar!

damn idk why my tab cant boot up recently. stuck either at the samsung or the galaxy tab animation.. need to wipe/factory reset only can boot up.. anyone?
