I've been using KI8 for 2 days.
I owez turn off my phone when charging.
When turn on, the percentage is still around 40-50%.
When using web, percentage often more than 'display', which never happen previously regardless of my usage.
I'll try to flash again tonight, with official rom (last time was frankenstein, but i doubt the result will be different).
The best battery consumption i've ever had is with KI3. With normal usage, could use more than 2 days, with auto-brightness and sync enabled.

Hope KJ1 will release this month.

consider flashing siyahkernel 1.8, i had the aos bug, now aos is only abt 3-5%

I'm also using this Rom...
Does it come with Dual Core script as default?

Or i need to download and install it seperately?
Is this the 1 ?

*
you need to install dual core script seperately. im not sure abt the link u provided as my dual core script i took from batista70 3.7.7 rom

edit: better u dun install that, as looks like its for evo 3d, not for us sgs2 users

might be, but nevertheless depending on whether it got run or not. but wat i can say is, dun be to obsessed towards the battery life. 10% can be gone in minutes time when u browing network or playing games. so rather than getting mad on the percentage dropped, y dun u jz pretend that u had played 30 minutes game n the battery is gone coz of dat? wink.gif  wink.gif

oh ok then smile.gif im sorta like a battery freak, too bad battery technology cant keep up with other technology cry.gif

Anyone here using smart app protector by sputnik?

My phone hasn't been as stable ever since I installed that app. Had reboot and auto shutdown problems. So just need to confirm if it's something wrong I did. hmm.gif
I understand what you mean. Personally, I'm the opposite kinda guy.

So far the battery doesn't interfere with my life, so I'm enjoying myself and not really sweating the small stuff.
*
no idea abt the smart app protector. why dont u use smart lock lite? its a pretty good app, using it myself.

No. Contacts, email etc is under auto sync. NOT auto backup. You can manually sync contacts also under Contacts.

Strong it is, scratch proof it is not.
Get a good one like sgp or power support.
Those last quite a while.
*
surprisingly, i agree with you. gorrila glass is strong but not totaly scratch proof, so most ppl usually put screen protector to protect from scratches

I never turn on my gps.
This morning dropped to 51% omgggg. I remember it was 94% at 1am. There must be something wrong. So I just went to the RAM and clear memory. Not sure whether this help.

How do I screen shot my batter usage? Is it the one in the settings > about phone > battery usage? cuz sometimes I see some users post a different layout one.

It usually doesn't drain so fast. Usually if I go sleep, MOST oso 20%. Gosh..not sure whether there are some apps affecting my battery.. I'm worried.

Guy, mind to help? Noob here sad.gif
*
try to do factory reset and see if still got serious drain, if no, then it must be one of ur apps.

yeah just go to settings about phone and battery usage, take a screenshot, then click the top where there is a graph, and take a screenshot. consider getting betterbatterystats, it can help you determine whats causing ur batt drain

thanks a lot.i do search the 1st post, but i need some opinion/guide from sifus.
*
rooting ur phone only gives you root access, and lets you use apps like titanium backup(to backup apps), adsfree(to block ads in those free market apps) and many more. it doesnt improve battery.

wow, some app is keeping ur phone awake big time, look at the awake tab, even though ur phone is in standby, ur phone is awake about 70-80% of the time, this is caused by an app, not the phone itself.

Gaah, just tried out my camera on a piece of white paper and I could see the whole thing turn pink in the center.

I am already running KI3 and updated to the latest camera firmware. I think the pink spot is due to how the sensor deals with low light, because the second the picture becomes brighter / the LED is used, it disappears
*
same with me.

wow, just now scary sh1t happen to my phone, after i install ics wallpapers and use one of them, i went to flash ki3 modem as i was curious abt ki3 modem performance, and when i rebooted, all my widgets in home screen and apps at applications drawer all vanish, can put shortcut of apps on screen, but all other apps widgets cant see, reboot few times also same, so i put back to gud ol' litening wallpapers, then all my stuff came back.

did anyone install the ics wallpaper apk and had the same prob like mine?

No problem here. But i did not install it. I think its meant to put the apk directly to /system/apps. No installing required.
*
that might explain wat happened, i directly click the apk and install doh.gif
