2 simple question;

1- Which 1 you choose, buying SGS2 RM1699@Superbuy 1y warranty
or RM1899@Senheng 3y warranty?

2- Can unrooted to stock ROM after rooted? (in case return for warranty)

is it safe to dl app from getjar? dl cut the rope and when want install , it need give out some phone info~~ is it normal?

Has anyone posted any longer battery usage than this?

VERY minimal usage for 8 days (never off phone before) because I was busy with work..hardly touch phone.

- never on wifi/3g
- took a few pics
- total about 1 hour talk time
- about 20-30 sms
- some light gallery browsing
- alarm to wake me up every morning (+ some snoozes)

Yes, thats correct. Themes must be flashed separately (thats the right term) I believe its through CWM as they are zip files.

No, if you are referring to needing a jig to flash roms/themes. However, it maybe useful to get one as a standby for emergencies or if you want an easier way to get rid of the yellow warning triangle in the boot up screen.

Both my ace n s2 dont have this issue. I only rooted my ace. Really need to update it. Its been neglected since I got the sgs2.

well i dont know what happened, this time i reflash again and it works, maybe the previous gold theme was corrupted @@.

antt00 if you're using your gold theme can post a bit screenshots? why my theme like different from those screenshots/video in checkrom website @@

like the volume adjustment bar, is it in green or gold? or the download progress bar, mine's green, then in settings ur icons all is the aosp icons or new icons? coz mine i see like only the status bar and notification panel is themed only. Overglow is yellow tho

hmm, do provide me some feedback for the shutdown issue whether is still persisting after update. not sure wan update thru kies or flash custom rom

no doubt weird things to happen with this phone...

encountered this 1-2 times... phone shows got signal, but the error messages says otherwise.

as for phone shutting down, i have on encountered 3-5 times. but i cannot be 100% sure what happened. all i know what i placed it in pocket and later when i took it out, it was off. when i first mentioned this, some forumers did ask if i was using a case, etc... indicating case could be the culprit.

i accidentally dropped my s2 and it cant receive any service provider first. after that it cant read any sim card =.=! can it be fixed?
