I try to d/l free apps from Amazon, but it won't let me d/l: Amazon apps store is not ready for your region.

I have activated 1 click, how can I d/l the apps?

I am planning to get this phone from Digi but I am still very bothered by the rants that I read on the web about its battery usage 'cuz the phone drains the battery easily due to its high consumption of CPU process and it's running on Android. And the other thing that bothers me is the new batch that Digi releases which is the i9100G model.

Is it a MUST to root the phone? If I root it, will it benefit me in terms of longer battery life? I am new to this phone rooting etc (Only learnt about it LAST night). I've read that i9100G owners have to be careful when rooting 'cuz of compatibility issue.

I am not a gamer, I don't really play games on the phone. I just want a toy that allows me to make phone calls, do messaging, b****ing on Facebook, cam-wh***ing a bit, capture lovely photos and shoot some silly HD videos for Youtube.

Can someone knock some sense into me before I walk to a Digi centre and purchase this phone which might (but hopefully NOT) become the greatest regret of my life?

so most ppl here use clear screen protector? but it's a finger print magnet woh

no diff for us actually. jz for the developers to differentiate themselves n give them some rights to b b****y n force others to respect their works. caste system i'd say. for us? simply choose the one u like from any of the threads.

i just plan to get S2. now is confuse with the ap vs ori. is it both of the phone is same,just warranty is different. how both performance? ori more smooth?

Did you know there's two times notification (warning) for low battery? The first warning indicates your battery is low and the second notification indicates it's extremely low on its juice.

Either the Ultra Crystal or Ultra Optics should be fine. SGP makes some of the best screen protectors I've seen. I'm currently rocking the Ultra Crystal. It does scratch obviously because it's not diamond but it's a lot more resistant than the cheap screen protectors.

Don't worry about 2 screen protectors. You can either sell the spare in Garage Sales (sellers are charging rip-off prices) or you can just keep because you'll have to change it eventually anyway after wear and tear.

Baronic's tried all of them and recommended Ultra Optics so I'd probably go with that first. Get on eBay from the official seller though. It's a lot cheaper.

Ultra Optics is slightly costlier. Ultra Crystal is totally non-matte so if you want the "clearest" screen protector that's the one to go for. Just read the product description before you buy. Good luck!

Ultra optic doesn't scratch as easily as clear. Ultra optics is literally a middle between ultra clear and ultra matte.

I had that situation a few times. Still do not know what caused it. Just press home button to get out. It solve itself after some time.
