Better start with rom that simple and easy to flash. You can refer to page 1 about roms and rooting :-)

Are on original I9100 or the G version? No need to unroot but you have to flash full original firmware back again.

Dive got nothing to do with warranty. You had to register for Samsung account first in order to activate Dive.
Go to setting > about phone > software update
Register for account but you need to enable you data network first

Just keep the original buying receipt will be enough for warranty

That what's called marketing strategy. Nexus Prime advantage is the first one release with Ice Cream firmware. Ppl will buy because it's the latest firmware. Then 3 - 6 months later Samsung will release its flagship and that is SGS3 with much better spec like quad-core + Ice Cream + NFC. Again ppl will buy because the spec is much superior than Nexus Prime
In the end Samsung profit because ppl buy continuously both Nexus and SGS3.
It's the same cycle with SGSII and Nexus S :-))

It's the same like football match. If the player is down injured., the opponent player should kick the ball out as a gesture of sportsmanship and also it will give time for the medic team to see the down player.
As a rule of thumb, we don't go kicking the ball into the down player head somemore. That's rude especially if the injured player is an important one like the goalkeeper.
