QUOTE(chef @ Oct 1 2011, 02:46 PM) Sigh.... this 0.04 will haunt me for the rest of my life as long as I am collecting silver.... I will be forever 1 ASE short.... chef, about d roti canai, ive encounter one, however is d smallest ive seen and d most expensive one. at hotel la.. its ridiculous man, they just use d roti canai frozen, d small one, and yet charge ppl 4-5 times higher. lolz. anyway, maybe u should go to Pelita next to KLCC la.. hehe easy to find that mamak stall.o.k. so I'm ready to collect my barley and 1 request, where's the biggest roti canai in KL enyone has ever eaten? I mean if I'm gonna be eating 1 canai, I want the biggest and most expensive one!! haa haa..... chef QUOTE(mingophoria @ Oct 1 2011, 04:40 PM) i see many people collecting diffrent kinds of bars, however i wanna ask. its always depends on d buyer. for bars, i prefer scottsdale, kitco and sunshine. because of the design i might say..especially scottsdale.between all the bars above listed, which bars is deemed the most sought after by people ? and why do you say so? |

QUOTE(magpie9 @ Oct 7 2011, 07:09 PM) looking back at most of the threads, i think most of us are a bit off track d as in buying silver as a long term investment to curb inflation ... if we really for investment. we will go for 1 kilobar silver. lolz and silver bars only. coins are well known for their premium including eagles, maples and phils. hahait looks more likely that all investors have turned into collectors if we're real investors, we should be buying more eagles, maples and philharmonic because of its low premium and not trying to get a dragon at RM400 per oz but somehow once you're into silver, i think variety is a must d ... i personally like to have all sorts of design, feel excited and happy to see the collection growing |

if pure investment. better buy d lowest premium silver.
which means, if silver spot price now, $30x3.2=RM96, buy any type of silver that near to this price (of coz u wont get silver price around RM100). lolz what im saying is, if d spot price now is RM96..and u pure target is silver investment. buy silver bar coz it will be around RM125. while coin is around RM140.. and both is d same type of silver 1oz. thats pure silver investment la, u invest becoz of d silver, not becoz of d design, numis value, or limited edition n etc. but soon enough u guys will want to buy those limited edition =P |

QUOTE(Nidz @ Oct 12 2011, 03:17 PM) in short, yes. there ur ans. nidz more sifu than i am. hehe me new learner jsut like u guys =)u make profit when u sell if the current spot price is higher than the spot price during u buy. lets say, 12/10/2011 spot at usd32 u buy a morgan bar at rm125 next year, 12/10/2012 spot at usd50 (assumption) u can sell ur item around rm200 easily, or even higher. i prefer silver compare to gold, coz i have both..and it seems i can make more money in silvers rather than gold |

QUOTE(Nidz @ Oct 12 2011, 04:02 PM) i dont think the price of dragon is dropping, but the seller is desperately in need of money. d thing is many seller buy alot coz they thought ppl will be buying and they can put high price. endup, the sentiment is abit low nowdays..ppl stocking up fiat rather than silver. i notice this has been the case around 3-4 weeks aldy..IINM, i saw the same seller from last night or this morning, rm420>rm399>rm388 i guess many ppl heard silver high return, they jump in the silver during high price, later price goes down..n yet cant recover to 40USD like before...so many ppl aiming for short flipping/investment kinda caught off guard... cant sell, ppl not buying. and d price is not raising fast enough to attract more customer. BUT....in my opinion..hehe it will clear out the short term investor..but its a great opportunity for long term investor to buy cheap silver. i still believe it can break the USD50 level by end of this year. SLS is quite big. it depends also la. got 3700 ppl inside there.
some seller are quite good. fast response and easy to dealing with. but i also encounter 2 bad incidents. 1. Promise to meet 10pm, but he delay2 till 11 and come around 12. -__-" 2. Pre-order silver, and 4 weeks still dont get the item..sigh so called pre-order man. I do sell some stuff at SLS as well, usually i only do C.O.D, meet alot of ppl, and many of them are very friendly. talk about silver n gold. chit chat. good to deal with la. market is big. and yes, i deal with daryl from silverformalaysia and goldchan. very easy, very fast, and recommended. =D |

QUOTE(chef @ Oct 13 2011, 07:30 PM) I think as more and more people go into silver as collector then turn dealer, surely some not so business minded one will spoil the market and mess up the reputation of all. how about our FB group? i think i prefer this way, since in FB, we need real names, so we can minimize scammer.Anyway, let's all cool down a little, guide the new ones properly how to collect and how to sell, business etique and such. keep low yat silver clean and happy yeah? still after hundreds of post, there's no one good site for us here to gather our buyer and seller to meet and deal. chef |
