Need to clean before painting or doesn't matter?, what to do

Hi guys. Need to seek your advise. After renovation, house filled with sand and debris. Before start to paint, should i sweep up all the sand 1st? Just afraid when wind blow and they doing painting, will the debris kind of stick to the wall that has paint?

can i tell the painters not to open the windows or door then? isn't it pretty hot for them..? |
