My objective is to merge the middle room and the small room into a single room. Thus, I intend to have the wall between these two rooms demolished. Would like to know how much does tearing down a wall cost?

You need to find out if there is any supporting pillar in the wall. Can't just demolish later post danger.

I am sure that this wall is not a supporting wall. Neither does it have any wiring or stuff like that.

Ya I know that different contractors charge differently. Just wish to get the general price. Haven`t exactly measured the wall but it`s about 3 meters apart. About the average height from floor to ceiling. I don`t really want to change the floor tiles though. Just want the wall removed and "patched" back the part that has been ripped off, if you get what I mean...hehe. Is that even possible?

hi..generally we all want to just patch back the area.. Sure can patch back the part provided u can find back the same tiling. If your tiles are very old already and can't find..then you don't have much choice but to change tiles. Even if u find back the same tiles, it will be different a bit the colour. unless u can accept ..will look a bit ugly lo..

Sorry TS..tumpang thread...i'm thinking of breaking down a wall in my kitchen..which is not a supporting pillar to my unit. However, it has the switch for my kitchen lights...now i wonder if it can still be done.

Yes, can be done. Just relocate your switch.

Just to share...my ex-neighbour broke the wall to join the master bedroom and middle room to 1 big room. Later on..she found it difficult to sell the apartment instead of having 3 rooms...now have 2 rooms only. As such...do think wisely..in case you need to sell later on.

Don't simply tear down a wall if you stay in apartment or condo. Get approve from the management and check the plan.

If it effect the whole building structure, you going to responssible and kena sue kau kau. Don't play2.
