Your TV cabinet got a dark wall board so black cables can disappear into the surrounding

Yes, is part of the TV cabinet. No need worry cables running here and there. And the middle covered cabinet is where all my sockets and plus.

Bought a GSB 16RE and started drilling into my home walls to mount some shelves. Very happy with its power.

Just a question, I was happy drilling away and mounting my stuff till I drilled one hole. No matter how hard I push into the wall, the drill won't go any deeper. Tried to light up the hole to see whats inside but can't. Any explanation? Did I hit into some metal bar or something? Its just a regular wall, don't think its load bearing.
*
If you hit rebar, and really want to go deeper, you need to Change to metal drill bits, but you need a good bits to drill it. And spray some water regularly. But I don't advice to drill through rebar.

Just got myself a set of Skil 550W drill.

http://www.lazada.com.my/skil-13mm-impact-...es-1051146.html

Feel that the drill get very hot whenever I use it for more than 30 minutes. Maybe that's the difference in quality between the high end Bosch with the entry level Skil.

Or is it because I did it the wrong way?
*
Basic drill have are good for light drilling, if you want continues drilling get a heavy duty drill. Also depending on load if you are drilling concrete slab it will take longer time and high load for normal impact drill to drill therefore it will get warm very fast.

My colleague did drill into water pipe while installing mirror in his house toilet.  rclxub.gif

Either the piping didn't follow standard, or your colleague try drill below a stop valve.

Normally water pipe go from bottom to top, and only from stop valve is top to bottom.
