those who threaten to cancel their pre-order is just whining at this moment, i am sure they will not cancel their order.

i found cheaper pre-order somewhere else at
ozgameshop. Thats a difference of RM100 from what i am getting at EB. I'll lose the steel box and physical warfare pack, though. Not sure is that worth it or not.
The Beta was disappointing but they did fix some issues pretty fast, like the ground problem, the hit reg is slightly better today, sound is better with a lot more cursing. It is getting better, IMO.
Oh Battlelog is down again.

Seeing that this is their first time using the ANTS animation system in their game engine, i'm guessing that's where most of the bugs came from. Anyone remember the ridiculous bugs in the FIFA12 demo? Same thing here, but i'm not sure if the final retail FIFA12 release got any serious animation bugs or not. lol

FIFA have been using ANT since FIFA 10, i think, so i say its still unacceptable to see the bugs in the FIFA 12 demo because its a marketing tool.
Still they did do quite a revamp on ANT in FIFA 12 as body parts dont go through each other. To the point that EA Sports actually done more in their annual FIFA than CoD. The animation is so smooth till it looks like a real match.

If its an indie developer, these bugs in BETA/Alpha is tolerable. I myself work on few project, normal software and also game. I got no one to try except putting it into real test when your stuff ain't that big enough.
When you got close Beta and people lining up to test your stuff then you need some quality control. From a developer point of view, let other see my work at it's best is the best part after the project. I like people to give comment, good one on my product, not just flaming like this kind of shyt is totally worthless. I put time and effort into it, whether it is paid or free, I feel it is important to give the devs some appreciation.
What I meant was this Beta could be better if they show us a better build. Although you just want to stress test the backend, make sure your clients are happy also at the same time. Indirectly, if they are happy with Beta, then more people will buy and it brings profit to the company. Now some are thinking twice or wait everything to be fixed before considering to purchase or not. You will end up with a slow start and gaining people in slow momentum. That is really not the best way to show the year best FPS game.
Hopefully the official release will give us more. I know they will fix almost everything after upcoming patches but it would be better you can release a game with no more patches or perhaps some tiny one only to update stuff, not fix stuff. Patches are heavy to download too just like BC2 ones.
I have a feeling that it could be an even older build than Alpha, as Microsoft needs very long certification to release the Beta. BC2 did not get a Beta on 360 last time, if im not or they have a very short one. I am pointing the finger on Microsoft with their stupid XBox LIVE walled garden.
Still, i agree that they need some quality control. The initial release is terrible to the point that i feel bad about DICE. So much effort put in the game but the results were poor.
Its more like people are disappointed with the game, as it was hyped so much and the initial Beta looks more like a failed game than a game i want. Its bad in so many ways.
Metro feels like playing White Pass on BC2, where cover is important, except feels more campy, a lot of spray and pray and slow.Having an APC there will be much better.

to be honest, i first I tot is aimboting, all kinds of hacks that kills meh. turn out to be this lame bug.
if u try join JP server, the problem get even more common than the SG ones. Someone i wonder is aiming for headshot in BF3 really important? or we just spray everything we see.
btw, the moving death body also often get me confuse as a living opponent as well when in long range.
I think matters a lot now, as some of the hit reg calculations are on the client side.
I am getting whole lot more of instant kill when my connection is laggy.
