Do you know about those pipes? The pipes for your tap, shower, the "paip air" pipes? PVC ones, grey colour?

Sleeving kits, can expand as you already know (I hope).

So put the PVC pipe on the molex connector, and slide the sleeving kit inside.

Then remove the pipe and you're done.
*
But dis applies to big diameter sleeve only ma'. The small one (which fits the wires snuggly) couldnt expand so much. wink.gif

If using those spiral wraps of course no need to remove any connectors also. But doesnt like as nice~ compared to the sleeve.

sohaix : If using the smallest size, which is fits snugglier. The expanded size still not enuff for the molex connector to be slided through.

And yups, warranty doesnt void for just replacing the molex. As long u dont open the PSU. wink.gif

like u said it depend on the preference ,,,,but slightly longer allowed u to cover and hold the sleeve for sure .... so good for beginner ..... thumbup.gif

for experience modder usually measures according to the thickness of the cables that u try to sleeve through .....  icon_rolleyes.gif

use more for thicker while shorter for slimmer ..

Hehe...I understand ur reasons now. It makes sense, specially for beginners.

QUOTE(ianho @ Jun 22 2006, 03:14 PM)
I'm of the long heatshrink school of thought too. I do it with long heatshrink with a ziptie underneath. That's the only way it'll stay nice n tight if ure the type who always messes with ure hardware n always install, remove stuff. I used to do the short style but it always comes off in the end coz I'm always playing around with my wiring. So it really depends, if u do it once n stop messing with ure rig for years then yeah short is nice. But I seriously doubt many fellas here r like that. After all this is the section for bekside itchy modders like us who never leave things alone.  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
*
Hakhak...mr mod, do u really remove those hardwares so often¿ shocking.gif

Btw, may I knw wht type of heatshrink u normally use dude? Coz the one I use doesnt come off easily although I always pusing² da wires. Mebe coz of diff handling ways tongue.gif
