QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 10 2011, 11:44 PM) hmm, so it's quiet risky to use amex when overseas if there's difference in time with malaysiawe might be end up being charging more due to lack of the 5% rebate has anyone tried with hongkong/ taiwan? do they post their transaction date on the same day itself? |

QUOTE(shortleg88 @ Oct 17 2011, 05:40 PM) Need to confirm something here to be on the safe side just pay up the full amountIf my statement date is on the 18th, which mean my payment due date is on the 9/10. Let's say my statement amount is RM1000 (all using Amex during weekend), next month will rebate RM50. So for my payment I can pay RM1000 or RM950? of course besides the amount after that there's still some outstanding amount from post statement date. Thanks for the advice in advance. |

QUOTE(csk3984 @ Oct 19 2011, 05:42 PM) Hi all, the cash back is counted on monthly but bear in mind that if you spend at the end of the month, the cash back might not be calculated for the current month and carry forward to the next monthWant to know. The RM50 cash back is starting from 1st day of every month until every month last day. Example 1 October - 31 October. Or Follow our Billing date. Let say my billing date is 23rd of every month and i got RM50 cash back. If 24th is weekend and i use AMEX to do my purchase. Would I get the cash back? since I reach the cap RM50 before 23rd. Added on October 19, 2011, 5:58 pm QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 19 2011, 05:52 PM) Follow calendar month, i.e. 1st to 31st October. yes correct but i got few time spend at the end of month but only getting the cash back on my statement on the following monthBy the way, cash back will only be given back on the 1st/2nd of the following month. QUOTE(Malvo @ Oct 23 2011, 09:25 AM) but if you could justified it, then why bank still suspend the account? i did the same by using maybank card also receive a call from them as confirmation tooi noticed maybank don't make any call (to me at least) when i made numerous transactions (online purchases) in short period of time. maybe the sum is not large enough, i don't know.. but ocbc did call me once i made my first rm66 online transaction using titanium, although it is a small sum but it made me feel secure knowing the bank is monitoring all my activities |
