when i gaming... it hang and few sec it come out blue screen something like this

how to take the snap shot in there?
it occur on my new liano laptop Asus A43TA VX019V
today 3rd day... and today occur twice..
win 7 home premium x64 bit.. what i did is, i dl catalyze 11.8 and installed, i lower down some of the max cpu state asus power4gear hybrid setting application, dl wireless adapter driver from asus website.

it would much helps if you attach with dump files.

where to see the dump file?

Minidump can be found in C:\Windows\Minidump

maybe because you tweak the max cpu state cause the bsod?

try install this bsod diagnose software which i think useful, download the WhoCrashed 3.02, just press the analyze button will do.

U had the .dmp file in your screenshot. Compile it and it will pinpoint the problem. Usually a .sys or .inf files..those are drivers

1. reset your mobo cmos settings
2. clean all the existing ATI driver and software
3. install the driver from manufacturer CD.
4. test run again.

i dont think max cpu state..it happen only i playing online game..that game wont drain alot usage..

i know... i edit say 'i found' mean the dmp..
how to compile it ? the ss is wrong? there state atikmdag.sys = ati driver..

i ytd midnite clear all ati with driver sweeper..
then my laptop no more wide display..
i dont have any cd.. i just go asus website and dl the utilities of chipset amd...
then it install a amd vision engine..
and my gc have ati driver again.. now i have highe wide screen resolution..
but the ati driver is back on my C:\Windows\System32\drivers

1.reset mobo cmos how to do it? go in bios 1? i new to laptop..
if desktop i jz take off cmos battery..

3. macnufacturer cd = i go asus website dl also same rite?

hmm, you can go to bios there and set to default factory settings.
btw, you already done the 2nd and 3rd step so just test the result any error again or not if not then you can skip the 1st step.

k.. now i run the game...if prob come again i will do 1st step..

i wonder if 1st step occur again, how?

then try diff version of GC driver, if manufacturer driver having problem then go to ATI download the latest driver. for GC setting just left it default.

u mean use other gc driver?
lol.. i think the prob come out is after i dl from ati..
i go dl the 11.8 ati only found this prob out..

where is the gc setting?
i run the game then the amd engine version will pop out and ask me choose option for the game.. high performance or battery saving..

i jz encounter a msg say display driver amd driver has encountered a prob n just sucessfully recovered..

Don't you think sending it back to Asus service center and let them to troubleshoot the problem is a good solution?

mind to show us your laptop temperature?

temp is normal. i found out something.. the device adapter after i install the new chipset from asus.
device adapter previous is 6500 and 6600
now 6750 and 6520

aka 6600 and 6500

now i searching driver for 6600/6500 aka 6620g 6650m
but dono where to find. amd website all is whole package i think

well. since it's a new latop, you should have warranty for it. within 7 days, u can change a new laptop. do change it in the next 5 days. good luck !!

if happens again you better just send it for warranty.

go back to the shop and change the same set. since like you said.. it's a display set means last piece liao. den i suggest you change to another laptop. make sure to go down within 7 days. if not they might ignore your claim. change any model / series ba. hopefully got same price. try not to get lower price, cuz they most of the time will NOT refund you the extra $$.. if not top up some money for a better series.

Have you tried format and reinstall OS?
Restore to factory setting and see whether you still have the BSOD or not.

here laptop kinda over price.. mostly they sell i3 i5...amd not so popular.. i looking for liano only.. 5560 nid book 1..

i not sure how restore.. now i try dl 11.9 amd catalyz..
the bsod occur again.. for 12 hr occur twice..

First try to boot into safe mode. If the problem still occur, uninstall gc driver and try install the ATI gc's driver from manufacturer site.

Also, plez attach your dump files here:

Possible cause:
a) BIOS bug
b) a driver whose activity is causing the target processor to lock up
c) a hardware defect (temperature, voltage, dust, RFI, outright borkedness...)

i will just fresh format it with a new os

i jz flash it with easy flash bios update...
after flash it erase, install and verify 100 %
it say shut down in 2sec..
then it shut down. i cant on it back after shut down.. my laptop is dead?

are you sure you update the correct version?
try to remove battery and power plug then wait for a while then connect it back.

*laptop still new just send for 1 to 1 swap.

i flash to 206.. after that cant turn on..
i try unplug battery and still same..

i take back to shop and told them it cant turn on..

i request new laptop or change other model since mine is display set and purchase within a week..
they say wait check izzit software problem.. say they will format/recovery if cant spoil..

edit: damn, the shop say i registered on asus website for 2year global warranty, means the pc is mine. i can't change other laptop already. they say after reg on asus website, 3 day later the asus will update and activate the warranty.
then i cant change other pc already.. got such thing?

no such thing =P Go Asus center request for 1 unit will do.

Last time my eee pc also got blue screen problem, I did registered too but they still change for me.
