I heard about this when I was in Singapore late last year and walked past a RHB in Jurong that was pushing this card.

My bank accounts are the no annual fee BSAs (Maybank and Public Bank), but I also had them for years now. I remembered that you have to specifically request for them.

They were trying to get me to go with the AF option at Maybank back then, but I said no.

Last I checked last year, you get 8 ATM withdrawals free every month now..

Walked into a PBB (saw there wasn't a line outside) to change the ATM debit card that's expiring this coming December (was told that I can change 3 months before), but I was issued the Visa, not Mastercard.

The lady working the counter said that HQ is telling them not to issue anymore Mastercard debit cards? Anyone knows why?

I've tried the Maybank debit card kiosk recently - if you don't have thumbprint problems, then can use. If got problem, still gotta do it over the counter with human.

Kinda depends on the bank account you have, I think. Can try to ask if can opt out of paying the RM8 annual fee when you renew the card at the branch, just say you don't need the unlimited ATM withdrawals, etc.

I knew something like this sure got quota one - I only managed to get 3 x RM5 CB at 99 towards end of last month, this month tak sempat pun LOL

Quick question:

Some of the malls now got discount if you use debit card to tap in and out at their parking lot. MyDebit just means local bank punya debit card kan? So BigPay or Wise not counted as MyDebit cards?
