Yes it can be done, you need to activate it at the nearest Maybank ATM for overseas withdrawal (set it to be permanent) so that it can be use to any country you go. Hey guys, i tried to use my Maybank visa debit to purchase from Topman online store. I tried to finish the transactions about 5 times and all of them failed to go through. When I checked my bank balance, the first 3 transactions i tried were refunded immediately while 2 weren't refunded. So I called the customer service, they said it would take around 16 working days and if the amount isn't returned by then I would need to file a report. Anyone face such situation before and should I be worried?
Yes, I have encounter the same situation but with Paypal which all this while it has been successful but I've got this problem from a merchant from UK, and yes I have contacted Maybank CC CS and lodge a report which they will refund the monies back to your account within 16 days.
