QUOTE(kl8524 @ Jan 9 2012, 12:34 AM) Hi,guys..im new here to build this model kit,can i know which glue/cement is the best for this model kit?isit ABS CEMENT or ABS PLASTIC WELD CEMENT?according the magazine they using ABS PLASTIC WELD CEMENT & where can i get it?a current confusing issue for me...LoL,tqvm guys Get those modeling ABS cement glue. Any kind will do though many said Tamiya's once is more powerful. I personally use Mr. Cement which can easily be obtained from a hobby shop if you're in KL.Where to get issues? Check Popular or your local newstands like myNews. They should have it. Good luck and have fun! |

Well, in a way its not wrong either since the decals will spoil easily if care isn't taken when storing the parts while still building. Since when the whole model is done being built, the last thing that goes on are the finishing touches.
Then again, it goes both way. I still wonder if we are getting CF decals or else I'll have to resort to finding ways to import it in myself. |

QUOTE(VHunter @ Jan 24 2012, 09:03 PM) Could not help wondering if bookstores and newsstands received a couple of issues in advance (i.e: Batch 1: 1-10) and releasing them on shelf week by week. I dunno, just a thought. I was really surprised to see issue 18 in MV already as we are on CNY break. Maybe they do receive in batches but tied to some T&C to sell them week by week? I did enquire about this. They said they get their shipment every 2 weeks, 2 issues. Depending on their sales, they might get next batch weekly, or slower. So, I decided to subscribe since checking out newstands weekly is not easy task for me, since its at the city center and I rarely go there. |

10cm high, 7cm wide. Slightly bigger than those toothpick in a plastic cylinder container. No camera to shoot it.

Fuu. Binder also same price as 1 issue. Really good way of milking us of our money.
I think we're following UK issues. If you check their forum, they have exactly what we get compared to Japanese version where most of the stuff comes in a box than in blister packs. |

I wonder if we do get the set of wet tyres and also the helmet. That would be great.
Anyway, just to add. Received 2 boxes today. Issue 9-15 inside. Dad forgot to pass it to me and he forgotten it when he left it behind the sofa. This post has been edited by satriakid: Jan 31 2012, 10:53 PM |

QUOTE(senglaren @ Feb 4 2012, 10:33 AM) Already know from speculating as our issues look exactly like UK's.Still cheaper than buying a factory built model of this car. Saw at Bangkok early this year. Nearly RM4k minus the books, freebies and what's not. |

QUOTE(VincC454 @ Feb 6 2012, 11:40 AM) lol seriously... I did calculate and knew about the cost of collecting it. No difference to collecting gundam kits to me honestly since this is kinda slightly cheaper in terms of paying. 1 gundam kit retail from rm120 onwards till rm500 for MG kits which I collect. This excludes the airbrush kits, paints and other misc stuff. I recycled some of the kit making stuff to build the model so yea.if want count the total cost of the mag+its model then you sure end up wont collect it since last time this kind of magazine, the average of the model total cost sure will over 2k price tag if you are a modeller collecting bit by bit like this are actually fun and see the final product done later and you know its done by you yourself are priceless my old titanic model (same kind of this weekly magazine) total cost also around 2500++, and need around rm500 to 1000 for the cost of building it.... but when its done it as long as 100++ cm (its 85% done now actually for mine..thats why i havent start my mclaren yet QUOTE(knight81 @ Feb 6 2012, 06:26 PM) My 4th delivery received on last Friday 3/2/2012 with issues from week #17 to #20 (4 issues). So fast issue 22. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ...and the next day 4/2/2012 received the latest 5th delivery with issues from week #21 to #22 (2 issues). » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Looks like we're making the engine and gearbox soon. Edited: Got home and received my shipment again. ![]() This post has been edited by satriakid: Feb 7 2012, 11:28 PM |

QUOTE(collinjn81 @ Feb 8 2012, 06:05 PM) Same here but just treat it as an installment payment like for an iPhone or other gadgets, minus the functionality. Apparently my dad wants me to stop the subscription as he wants to get a Galaxy tab and I need to use his CC as the company does not accept my debi card. |
