I think they increase the price because the promotional price of RM9.90 and RM19.90 is over. But cheaper than RM29.90 as per Issue 3 onwards right. smile.gif

I highly doubt so. Its printed there the price already.

Hence why I decided to get from my usual news stand, sadly, no stock. And he's the only one who sell it at the RRP. Rest jack the price up.

Anyway, I received my 2nd shipment today. Yay! Or is it? They didn't send me my steering wheel as promised in the invoice. vmad.gif The only thing arrived is Issue #6 to #9, and the binder. No complaints on the binder, solid quality, able to store 20 issues. Here's my binder pics.

Looking at the binder, its really worth it! I was expecting something like a DVD box where you just slot it in the booklets. tongue.gif

Still waiting my other shipment. 2nd set of front spoilers already buy and prep but not even assembled yet. doh.gif

Anyway, done with my current parts which needs no CF decals. Still wonder should CF it or not. hmm.gif

Bought another set since I kind of spoilt my first one.

This time, decided to put less superglue, the part came off. So, tried to dab some into the area and this happens.

Seriously, this is even harder than putting a Gundam kit together. cry.gif Prolly cause gunpla can paint over, while this has paint already.

Issue 1 and 2.

Hi guys. The bottle of Mr. Hobby cement I bought doesn't stick the plastic part at all. I was wondering how did you guys stick them together.
*
Mr. Hobby cement only works on ABS. There are some parts which are die-cast metal so you need superglue. Apply your cement on both place where its going to glue together, wait a while before pressing them together. Mr. Hobby not as powerful as Tamiya's or Mr. Cement but works also, cept slower. rclxms.gif

Can we use that "elephant" branded blue as the Tamiya cement glue? Isnt that elephant glue also super glue that also eats thru plastic and create some white marking around the application area?
*
Using "elephant" one so far didn't eat through the ABS, but left some white marking behind. I stick to ABS cement as its better and easier to manipulate for ABS on ABS. DIe-cast, use the superglue sparingly. rclxms.gif

Thanks for the tips. however I am still struggling to stick the parts together with my bottle of Mr. Hobby Mr. Cement Limonene. For example the brake airflow from Issue 10 won't stick after 2 days even i tape them after applying the Mr. Cement. Am I doing it wrong.......
*
Try applying on both sides. I do that, then wait a while, then press them together. Maybe you can try applying, waiting a while (like 5-10 seconds) then apply abit more, then stick them together. Don't put too much. This is to melt the ABS a little.

I'm rather disappointed here!

So far I've got only 4 issues! which I bought from the first batch of launch last year.

I had already started to subscribe again this September and till today I still didn't get anything from Issue 5!

And due to my hectic work daily I didn't get to follow up on my delivery status until late at 6pm yesterday I called them and she keep asking me in return, "I didn't send meh?". I keep telling her that I didn't even get charged on my credit card!

Then she said she will call me back on Thursday. I got none. Been to their office, really lousy company lah!

What's the latest issue now?
*
I think issue 9 and 10 is out. Mine still at issue 7 since last shipment. sweat.gif

Wow, casing 24,800 yen. Near RM1k.

The decals don't look like CFs.

Now that's more like it with close-up shots. Share link to the site. I want to see more! Then decide whether to get decal sheets or wait for theirs.

Looks almost similar to ours. But they have more than what we get, and less issues. Plus all those cardboards! I'm already fretting about on the amount of plastic wrappings I have atm. Luckily my mom likes to donate all this recyclable stuff to charity, least they can gain money from our trash. rclxms.gif

I wonder what the silicon oil is used for.

Subscribing has its advantages. You get 2-3 free issues, which I had 2 issues free, and the freebies which they are giving (steering wheel, cap, binder).

Downside, have to wait.
