Update on my solar power planning.
I'm going to install 28panels separated into 2 systems.
20 panel 5KW system with inverter and battery for airconds (1.5hp + 1hp) at home. Mining servers will run at morning to burn away extra electric generated. Inverter will switch to TNB when battery runs out at night.

8 panel 2KW system (panel only) for experimental works.

Probably gonna spend rm30k on this...

If you have 30k spend or more, suggest to wait a bit longer to get a new invent power generator. (Maybe next yrs)

It is invented by russian but fund and promote by Korean. This magnetor generator with battery combine can cut off TNB totally. Generate power more than you need.

Been follow this for 2 yrs and finally the product out. But like other, I still feel skeptical about this free energy thingy. Look like scam and maybe because it is from russian. Also the way they promote is not like western. Probably try to protect their invention. This company already has a distributor here. Not good since they will monopoly the market with jack up price.

I understand the principle of this generator running. It is not new technology and have see this before in some renew energy expo which built by local people here.

It can run 24/7 generate 5kw/10kw. Even run at 80% efficiency, you can get back ROI between 2yrs.

I will dump money on this than the panel.

I will proceed with the solar panel for now, its only 5kw anyway. My original plan was 10kw panel.

The magnetor thing, wait till its fully proven or the Chinese manage to copy it, then I will get it, I feel like it will take 2 to 3 years?
I don't mind having more power for my mining rigs anyway. brows.gif
Btw, if the magnetor thing is so good, what will the energy cartels respond to it? devil.gif

Do you have the link for the generator info?

What power the magnetor generator? If they are talking about free energy, then forget it, it violates thermodynamic second law, if they proved they are right, many physic laws need to rewrite and time may not only moving forward.

Actually this thing didn't define the law. It is not "real free energy". But produce own energy to generate higher energy. Simply some ratio output use 1w to produce 3w of power.

Those free energy are scam.

Use 1w of power to generate 3w of power, that is net output of 2w power, free energy! Forget it la.... Already break law of conservation of energy

That's why I said might be scam.

But at the same time optimistic with the invention. Let see how is the team progress.

Just checking (those who installed or planning to install solar panels)

Do you guy think that the solar cables (cable bhind the solar panels or string DC cable) is important?

(Yes)
What are the brands you would recommend?

(No)
Why say so?

I would say cable is very important. You don't really want to climb up to the roof to repair broken cable right?

Sizing cable is important. Make sure it can carry higher current.

Makesure the insulation can stand UV. Normal insulation cable will harden and break a part after some yrs.

The solar panel installer is coming to install today.
20x 250w panel, 5kw inverter, 48v x 150AH battery.
4 x 250w panel for my R&D use.

Half of the front roof space all used up.

Still got space for at least 30 panels for future, using back of the house and car posh space.

24 panels in total.
Attached Image

4x 12V 150AH battery. each weight 50kg. icon_question.gif
Attached Image

Panels have edge at the side to make installation easier.
Attached Image

Panasonic panel in Japanese.
Attached Image

Argh the picture orientation. sweat.gif

ps: after actual installation seems like can fit 28 panels in total. Hmm... what to do with the extra 2000w. hmm.gif

How much is a Panasonic solar panel cost you?

Monocrystaline or polycrystalline panel?

1 panel = RM680.
Not really sure what crystal it is.

Looking at the shape of the cell, maybe its mono? hmm.gif

What battery is that so big? Acid seal ?

Show us how the roof install.

what to do with the extra 2000w --> Send it to me. I just want the panel. tongue.gif

It is HIT panel. Have an efficeincy of 19.x%. It have a higher output persqft compare to normal panel.

A mono with amorphous cell.

It is more tolerate to the heat because it content amorphous cell. Which suitable to here.

It is my favor panel.

Each cell is actually half size of lorry battery. 50kg damn heavy tho.
The extra 2000w probably need to find a more powerful mppt charger + 24v lifepo4 from China.

today only finish install half (14 panel). continue tomorrow.

I was travelling in Kyushu Japan early this week, I saw only few houses in the rural area installed solar panels on the roof top, and I also saw quite a lot installed on the ground, I think they prefer solar panels install on the ground so that it is easy to clean up

I mostly travel to north side toward Fukushima. A lot of Japanese home install panel ontop the roof. My 2 colleague also have panel on their roof after rebuilt the whole house.

They don't waste much their land space. A small land also full of panel.

Its done.
28 panels. 20 for generation and 8 for me to play around. The location installer standing at will have panel too.
Installer say I should be able to fit another 30 panels with the remaining space on my roof (front + back). smile.gif

Now hoping for cheaper and better batteries to come.

Attached Image

Now to monitor how much it can save me per day in kwh from the tnb meter.
